Given you said you were open to ideas - depending on how much work it entailed, you could track supplies, and raiding for more stuff could be a potential mission, where we deposit stuff back into the armoury. Could restrict this to only significant items, rather than us coming back from a raid with a haul of 47 broomsticks.
For example, we need alchemist's fire to blow up x, dont have enough/any, raid behind enemy lines for some, might find some useful intelligence/other loot in the process.
Sounds good, will see about incorporating a supply system going into the future. Maybe the value of what you could take out the armory might go up with rank as well.
I think text combat is fine and can create a much more imaginative game. I also think there are some cases where text only combat can be detrimental. I think for our first encounter, with most likely 1-2 locations that aren't very complex (like a venture into a mine would be), text only combat will be great. I also don't want to impose an undue burden on the DM to create something that may not be utilized enough to make up for the amount of effort put into it.
Also, I'd like to know how everyone would feel about text only battles? I was going to use a map, but am reconsidering. If anyone would like to offer their input on this, please feel free to do so in the OOC forum, thanks.
I'm fine with not using a detailed map to micro-manage every round of the fights.
Maybe a simple map at the start of combat, like a kid's drawing with only the basics? That would help me visualize the layout of the land.

Perhaps you could beg, borrow and steal from the internet? If you find a map you want to use, then our in-game intelligence has come up with something good. If not, then it's text based. If you find a good map, we could have to do a mission to get hold of it before we run the map-based mission (plans for the death start type-thing).
OOC: Not sure if I can move the fog cloud. I think that's at the DM's discretion. There's nothing that says you can or can't move it and I've played games where the DM has sided both ways. (Fog Cloud)
Don't know about anyone else, but I don't mind you rolling initiative for me when timezones clash and we are waiting on one of 2 people, seen as there's no decision-making involved on behalf of the player. Could do it similar to your last post where you've listed everyone.
(ooc: I seem to be missing Thalvos's character sheet, was going to roll init for him. Thalvos's player, if you're still in let me know, I'll promise to fit you into the order.)
After you bring up MyContent/Campaigns in the website bar, you can "view" this campaign, and then view everyone's character sheet there.

Regarding the armoury, maybe use something like this list for supplies https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Adventuring Gear#content, and we can help ourselves to (1d4, say for example) of each supply under a certain value?

either combat works for me ---just need ranges :)

While having a map would be super cool, I am down for text based combat as well. Doesn't matter to me, as long as Berak gets to crush skulls :P

Likewise for me. I don't want to hold up the group.

Makes sense, I'll roll initiative for everyone after this battle.
