Sion, is a drow working for the Waterdeep City Guard, no one else would employ him, why? Because he's a drow. 'One day I will get a break' he mumbles to his fellow City Guard companion. His fellow guard for the shift just grumbles a response back the same response Sion always receives. 'If I was someone else you'd be happy wouldn't you?' Knowing the two of them are stuck together because no one else wants to work with them. Sion answers back to see if theres a response at all! Nothing. It begins to rain, the day is ending but they are only part way through their shift.
BACK-STORY: Sion has little knowledge of his heritage and where he came from and how he came to be cared for by druids in the high mountains. He's heard some rumours but no one within the sacred grove where he lived would discuss these rumours with him. Nonetheless he's days with the druids were happy ones and he grow to love and respect them. As he grow into adulthood and experiencing the loss of age amongst those he lived with a strange and deep feeling awoke within him. On a full moon night, not a sound or wind broke around him and yet a soft beautiful voice, melodious and powerful could be heard around him. He walked out of the grove and began to follow the sound walking slowly oddly it began to grow louder and louder. As he continued to walk towards the singing a small lake appeared before him. He could see a large fire burning and its light unnaturally radiant in blues and greys. Sion could see other naked Drow dancing and embracing each other in rapturous joy. 'Come Sion come to the fire' a voice said to him. He couldn't disobey the request and raced towards the fire where the other gathered Drow were dancing. A particular Drow stood away from the fire, her beauty surpassed anything he could possibly imagine, yet no primal fear radiated from her - as expected from his kin -, her hair long and flowing wildly around her and her eyes pulsing with energy intoning knowledge and power. 'Who are you?' Sion asked softly and with reverence as his own body was trembling in utter ecstasy. 'I am Eilistraee, God of song and beauty, God of the drow who come to the surface, follow me Sion and know my love'.
Backstory: Glink Glimmergear was born with a frail constitution, spending most of his early years confined in a protective bubble crafted by his concerned parents. After years of tinkering and countless prototypes, he finally succeeded. His Arcane Armor, a marvel of both magical and mechanical engineering, provided the protection he needed and amplified his abilities.
Now, with his inventions at his side, Glink sets out into the world, eager to prove himself and achieve the adventures he always dreamed of.

Lang isn't your average temple priest, as a matter of fact he can probably count the number if times he's even been in a temple on one hand. He enlisted young into the his duchy's standing guard. Having no talent for sword or riding skills he was quickly assigned to assist the clerics on staff with the unit, During a training exercise one of the healers was struck by a stray ballista shot. Background: Courtier
Backstory:
Otho was born into a noble family, revered for their long-standing service as courtiers and performers in a grand kingdom. He was deemed too kind and naive for politics. From a young age, he was marked by the moon's blessing, his silver hair and radiant eyes setting him apart. As he grew, so did his connection to lunar magic, which he used to aid his family's endeavors and bring joy to the court with his displays and performances. Despite his talents, Otho felt constrained by the court's intrigue and yearned for a life beyond its walls.
One fateful night, a vision from the moon goddess Selûne urged him to seek his true purpose in the wider world. He awoke branded by intricate starry patterns from head to toe. Embracing his destiny, Otho left the court. His journey led him one adventurer after another, each honing his sorcerous abilities. Otho now travels as an adventurer, guided by the moon's light, seeking to bring balance and justice wherever he goes. Though he misses the comfort of his life, he knows his true calling lies under the vast, starry sky.
Grey was raised by dwarves. He knows what it is to be dwarven, and very little of what it is to be elven. He doesn't even speak elvish or sylvan. He is a cleric of Moradin, a dwarven deity. After 100 years of living with and as a dwarf, it is time for Grey to leave behind the dwarven forge, deep in the mountains. It is time for Grey to leave the only home he has ever known, and learn what it is to be an elf.

He quickly earned a fearsome reputation on the battlefield, striking fear into the hearts of even the most seasoned opponents. With each victory, Razzek carved intricate runes into his armor as a testament to his triumphs, channeling their magic to enhance his already formidable abilities.
As for gear, what are the rules for that? Starting gear only or are we getting a bump since we're starting at level 5?
Backstory: He was half orc and half dwarf but only the dwarfs accepted him into their home when he was orphaned at a young age. He was destined for the army but much to everyone’s surprise including his own, he was selected to be a ranger rather than infantry. He suspected that playing hide and seek with his dwarf cousins made him more nimble than normal half orcs and dwarfs. He feels he owes the dwarfs for raising him so is adventuring for wealth and to kill the baddies.
