Name: [your name]
Race: [your race]
Class: [your class]
Alignment: [just your alignment]
Charsheet: [link to dndbeyond character]
Backstory: [not very short, not very long, keep it balanced]
Backstory: Thormund is a monk and his order is dedicated to helping rebuild communities after a calamity has befallen an area. He has been sent out from the great temple of his order to do just that. His masters advise him that journeying alone is dangerous and that he should seek work or travel with a group to support himself and in order to deliver their aims.
Backstory: Azrael is an Acolyte of Bahamut, sent out into the world to prevent any manifestations of Tiamat he crosses. To him, all those who would wield power over the weak must be dealt with, swiftly and violently to uphold Bahamut's will. He also seeks to help those who are oppressed by such beings. Following the will of Bahamut, he began wandering the realms, hoping to find others of a similar mindset. He also seeks an answer to a question he does not yet know, and hopes to find it in his journeys.
Anders is a thief who grew up in an orphanage/farm outside a major city. To begin making more money for the farm he started smuggling contraband when bringing in produce to sell in/out of the city. He doesn’t mind bending a few laws to help support the people who need help to get by.
Backstory: Borak grew up in the stronghold of Garraz Duin serving as an acolyte in the local temple of Clangeddin Silverbeard as is traditional for the firstborn of House Battleaxe. After his initiation into the clergy he now is a travelling journeyman seeking to find Evil. By destroying abominations, undead and other vile creatures he'll be serving his god and gaining glory for his ascension in the ranks of his church.
I'd like to try out for this. However, the backstory is a bit long so I put the summery here.
Name: Kathleen Burns
Race: High Elf
Class: Fighter (Range Focused)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Backstory: Kathleen was born as the eldest daughter of a powerful Noble Elf family of Silversurge. Her parents wanted to groom her into a reserved gentle lady but Kathleen would always sneak out to go on adventures with her friends from the towns, much to their family's disapproval. Failing to discipline their daughter, her parents made her join her uncle's platoon, thinking the battlefield will frighten her from going out on adventures and get her to stay home as well as teach her some discipline. The plan backfired and Kathleen quite enjoyed her new job and new friends. However, when her uncle ordered the troop to attack a pit fiend, it lead to a crushing defeat where all of the soldiers except a ranger, her uncle and herself were killed. After waking up surrounded by the corpses of her allies, she limped back to their empty camp and patched herself up. From there she didn't return to her family but rather went to a different land to try and live the life of an adventurer like she always wanted to.
Backstory: Alaric is a drifter, a no account, who could never quite find where he fit in the world nor find a real purpose for himself. His morose wanderings eventually led him to sea where he finally found a sense of contentment and acceptance. His daring experiences emboldened him to strive for more, to chase the thrill of challenge in the hopes of continuing to better himself and the lives of those he encounters. Quietly altruistic and noble at heart, Alaric often seeks to help those that can not help themselves and, in his own small ways, leave the world a better place than he discovered it.
Backstory: Runmera has made a living guiding folks through the wilderness. She has spent most of her career traversing the wilds to the north, but she is confident in stride while in any forest or woods. Runmera plays the part as guide to help keep balance between civilization and nature. She helps people through the wilds, and in doing so, also protects the wilds from those folks. One day, she took a job offered by a personable little Dwarf called Gundren Rockseeker. Normally the more stoic type, Runmera found herself entranced by Gudnren's stories and jokes. She felt that she found a friend in Gundren, and she hoped she would one day get to travel with him again.
Backstory: Abandoned at birth, Silthen has spent most of his life on the streets. Losing all hope and trust for most every other race, he became a hermit deep in the woods, and does not enjoy contact with others. His blood, infused with magic, has helped him cope with the loneliness. He goes out now and again to compete in arenas, as they are one of the things he enjoys. Otherwise, he keeps to himself. But this grew old quick. He seeks adventure now. And power. Not malevolence, just... a sense of self.

Backstory: Arethal was born in a middle class family. He had many friends and loved playing with them but he also loved reading books. He didn't have many of them but one in particular stood out, a book dedicated to the cult of Tyr. Once he grew up he decided to try his luck in becoming a paladin, he trained hard and managed to get Tye's favour, something he wished for his whole life. He got into an army and followed it into many battles until it got disbanded. He felt out of place so he continued his personal battle against the injustices of the world. That's his mission now, making the word a better place.
Backstory: Born the son of a blacksmith, Viktor was trained by both his father and an old friend of the family, Grimm Hammerfire, a dwarf that went adventuring with Viktor's grandfather. While he was still young, Viktor's nature as an Aasimar was discovered and he was brought to the local druid who offered to train him. Now at age 19, he leaves his small town to be an adventurer like his grandfather and to prove that nature and metal can coexist.
When setting off on his adventure, Grimm Hammerfire pointed Viktor towards one of his colleagues Gundren Rockseeker who happily hired Viktor to help on his expedition.
Geord Terran was brought into the Material Plane from the Earth Plane. He has been a wanderer of the Material Plane trying to protect it from growing evil. He had a vision from Chauntea, the Grain Goddess, when he was a teenager. He didn't quite understood the vision but he knew he was destined for great things. His mother and father were farmers and healers of the land. He learned to be one with the earth and all the inhabitants. Even with the good, he believed that evil is there to balance it out like in nature. As he got older his visions got stronger and stronger. His parents were worried but they knew too that he was destined to be something great. One day, Chauntea appeared to him and his parents. She tells him to go to Material Plane with her to help. Evil has been growing and there was an imbalance in nature. His parents gave him their blessing and he promise to them that he would return one day. He shakes his fathers hand and hugs him. He kisses his mother on the cheek and hugs her. Chauntea then takes him by the hand and a portal appeared. Unlike the earth plane that he lives in where it is mountainous and desert-like, he looks into the portal to see a lush green forest. His eyes widen to see such vegetation as it was difficult to cultivate at home. His parents were masters of the land and knew how to farm and cultivate in a difficult terrain. He looks back at them and waves goodbye as he enters the portal with the goddess, Chauntea.
Backstory: Maltharn was born within the Mithral Halls of the Silverstone clan and seemed destined to follow in the footsteps of his father to work in a smithy; however, the orc wars that raged across the northern lands called him to battle. He was never the strongest, nor the quietest, but he always had a knack at keeping the wounded alive and being able to quickly triage those most likely to survive. Therefore Maltharn was never part of the vanguard of the dwarven forces, but he saw enough battle to make him hardened, but not without compassion for those in his care. After a particularly gruesome battle, Maltharn was dragging the grievously wounded dwarves from the battle and found that his touch alone would stabilize their wounds and while it did not heal them, it kept them from slipping further towards the halls of Dwarfhome; every dwarf he carried from that field survived long enough for the true healers to work their magic. Such a feat did not go unnoticed by the war clerics and he was placed under their care and tutelage. As he developed his powers through meditation and teaching of the clerics, he found he could reach out his stabilizing touch to those nearby and his healing magics were exceptionally powerful upon those at death's door.
After the orcs were driven off and dispersed, word spread of King Battlehammer's intention to return to the glorified halls of Gauntlgrym and Maltharn joined the expedition to those halls as well! After their victory, Maltharn hung up his hammer and shield for a time as he devoted his smithing skills to rebuilding Gaunlgrym, specifically he worked with the clergy in the Iron Tabernacle. He found himself particularly drawn towards Dumathoin as the keeper of the dead. It was there he had hoped to remain for sometime, but he one day he received a summons to Neverwinter. An old friend, Gundren Rockseeker, begged him to come to the city and aid him with an endeavor near the town of Phandalin. Initially Maltharn was loathe to leave the hearth and anvil behind again, but when a fellow veteran dwarf calls for aid... you answer the call!
Backstory: Joining his order as a squire at an early age, Demetrion devoted his entire life to its mission to rid the realms of the foul magic that is plaguing them. Over the years the grueling demands of this mission took a palpable toll on the once buoyant paladin. Hunting down miscreants and making hard choices became second nature to him but it also made him withdrawn, brooding and slow to trust. Committed to fulfill his holy mandate, Demetrion knows that there can be no mercy for the wicked and that the end definitely justifies the means. Recently, he managed to track down a warlock which had been eluding him for quite some time, only barely surviving the ensuing encounter. Now the Paladin is searching for a new quest in his fight against the forces haunting the world.
Backstory: Having been born from a union between rival dragonborn clans, his very existence has been largely tolerated rather than celebrated amongst the kin. And though in the begining he had tried to earn both sides of his family's favor time and time again, even saving cousin from drowning at one point, the disdain always inevitably returned due to his black scaled appearance, and intolerance for stuffy tradition over newer ideals. Eventually, Nadaar was disinherited and kicked out, though not w/o having nicked a pouch of "inheritance" money on the way out. On his own and resentful to the clan, Nadaar has devoted himself to the one of the clan's tradition, but twisted it in ways to be a mockery of the past. It is only the aspects pertaining to showmanship in swordsmanship that he largely retained, if albeit with a bit of showboating involved.
