Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Xenophon: Topaz Dragonborn Fighter (ixi's Dragon of Icespire Peak)
Race: Aasimar, Scourge Class: Divine Soul Sorcerer Alignment: LG, but not Lawful Stupid Name: Phanuel Backstory: Phanuel can trace his legacy back to an angelic warrior that aided many in the fight against the darkness, he has tried to model his life after this ancestor, but has had no luck training physically. He, though sheer force of will, can command magicks that are wonderful to behold, but he feels like a failure as he continues trying to become a warrior his progenitor can be proud of.
He does not have a death wish, merely a desire to prove his value on the battle field. Thus far that has mostly proven in triage and healing, with the occasional flash of divine light.
Been wanting to play CoS for a while now, would love to join.
Ability scores: 7121413814
Will definitely take point buy!
Race: Kenku Class: Druid Alignment: NG Name: Rattle Backstory: Rattle grew up under the tutelage of an archdruid. During her youth, she learned the value of nature and how it must be preserved through the full multiverse, as the lives of good people depend on it. She spent time travelling through her homeland, helping her master to free forests from curses, sanctify swamps and help those in need. Rattle sometimes finds it hard to keep her impulses in check, but she's truly loyal to her companions and would never willingly cause harm to them.
I would love to play CoS as a player before I end up DM'ing it.
Ability scores: 12151391014
Class: Wizard (into Bladesinging)
Race: Half-Elf
Alignment: LG
Name: Elpharae Shatris
Backstory: A half-elf raised among full elves, the connections of his father allowed him to train among the elite bladesingers. However, political machinations has lowered the Shatris house into disrepute and Elpharae was cast out due to his half-blood. Determined to prove his place among the Bladesingers and to raise his house back into prominence, Elpharae sets out to find a way.
Race: Fallen Aasimar Class: Paladin Alignment: CN Name: Lucifer Backstory: Being raised by a band of mercenary who worshipped Tempus, the god of war, he learned very early how to handle a sword. He live according the mercenary dogma "Power and personal greatness and the pleasure thereof are the only things worth living for. Everything else in life is meaningless and worthless." He seek out new challenges to keep his adrenline pumping.
Backstory: Teth is an introverted, quiet individual. As a youngster he and his family were taken in by a local religious group after the tragic death of his younger sister. The group turned out to be a cult and Teth's parents, vulnerable after their family tragedy, were consumed by the cult and lost themselves. Teth escaped the cult and took to the wilds around his childhood home, learning his ample survival skills the hard way; on his own and without a master to guide him. Teth has carried forward many of the religious beliefs bestowed upon him while a young member of the cult, but now rejects most of them after seeing what those beliefs did to his parents. This leads to considerable conflict in Teth, especially when it comes to organized religion.
Despite the fact Teth spend a good part of his younger years on his own, he is eager to strike out and see the world beyond the small village he grew up in. Teth is also always on the lookout for a suitable master that will take him under his wing and teach him to hone his survival and nature skills.
Backstory: Part of the simic experiments his past was left behind there was nothing left of the man he once was, which was an elf. Now he was just Snare. A name given to him for his natural ability to sustain damage. The Simic scientists that experimented on him took out their frustrations on Snare by using him literally as a punching bag. He would take the punishment and then go back to being experimented on. A once proud bulky elven barbarian was now a closed off hybrid of his former self.
Being found washed ashore on the mainland by a tribe of hill giants I quickly had to adapt as a young elf. The giants embraced me as one of their own given that I provided for the clan.
Although dim witted they had a well organized and strict heirachy. The tribe leader, the spoken hand of Grolantor God of war. Was the only one with some intellect. He was the one calling the shots and I obeyed as any other of their tribe. Since I was the smallest member of the tribe I was the one scouting ahead and doing the more finer work when we went on raids. I got damn good at it as well, or that was what I thought.
One day I was scouting a camp of mercenaries that had decided to stay for the night in our territory. I noticed an individual that looked exactly like me. Alabaster Skin, pitch black hair and the same icy blue eyes. On his neck he bore an amulet in the shape of a quarter moon. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I had to have it. I got too reckless and I was caught by the mercenaries. Soon after a fight broke out when two of my tribe members fought to get me released.
Both died in the endeavor and I was banished and cursed under pain of death on my return. Since then I've been using my skills gained by the time I was in the tribe to get around. Doing all sorts of work. Both using finess and more... Cruder methods.
Backstory: Abandoned at birth by her parents, Elyse was found and taken in by a human couple who lived in a small village of only humans. They were kind and caring and wanted to raise Elyse as their own child (they were unable to birth a child naturally). However, the other villagers were not as accepting of Elyse, as they were not used to seeing Tieflings. The adults were uncomfortable around her and the children teased her mercilessly. This treatment drove Elyse to cut off her own tail and burned the stub so that it wouldn't grow back. She hides her horns under a good and covers as much of her skin as she can. Now, she has taken an oath to hunt down and bring vengeance upon those creatures who have made people afraid of her appearance. She doesn't blame the humans, after all she sees herself as a monster. But she strives to put an end to evil creatures to punish them for what they have done to the world.
I'd love to throw my hat into the ring, if you'll have me.
Ability scores: 16141391013
Name: Seth Brantley
Race: Fire Genasi
Class: Fighter (Eldritch Knight)
Alignment: NG
Backstory: Seth has lived an unremarkable life for most of his 19 years. The son of a minor noble, he was nothing more than an eyesore or awkward question in his father's court. As a boy, he was impulsive and rash and his behavior tended to be even more of an annoyance to his family than his heritage. By age 17, Seth had been sent away to war, fighting in border disputes and serving on watches as a way to attempt to instill discipline. Unfortunately, this strategy had its flaws. While guarding a supply caravan, he fell asleep on the watch, waking to find bandits moving from form to sleeping form, murdering all in their path. Fearful and ashamed, Seth fled that night, and has wandered for the last 6 months, attempting to both gain control of his chaotic heritage and to atone for his past mistakes.

I would love to be a part of this.
Ability scores: 101315111410
Race: Half Elf
Class: Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Name: Xavnan Lightfingers
Backstory: Xavnan had a happy upbringing. Successful parents who own their own woodworking shop. Two brothers that are training to continue the family business. But Xavnan loved stories. The tales of magical lands, foreign people and terrifying beasts. Love, mystery, and adventure. His parents were not the least bit surprised when after a day in the market their youngest son announced he had signed up as a deckhand on the next ship leaving port.
Xavnan traveled the sea telling the stories he had heard to the crew and when in port he would create his own about the adventures he had encountered while traveling the salty waters. With a happy go lucky attitude nothing ever got him down as long as he knew there was a cold glass of spirits waiting for him in the next port.
Backstory: Darhan is a teifling researcher who has traveled the world looking to learn as much as he could. While being a tiefling could get some unkind attention in some areas he still managed talk his way out of anything, whether it be him being clueless of many of his circumstances or his willingness to do almost anything for a new book or access to a library. He has always tried to be nice and help those out as he went along and was happy to do what he could as he searched for knowledge.

Currently going by the mononymous stage name, Ozz, this half-elf bard has made his way up and down the country, telling his tales, singing his songs and often getting thrown out on his ear. A talented performer and popular with the ladies, Ozz often doesn't know when to say no. Maker of bad bets, taker of foolish dares, cuckolder of more than a few husbands and participant in more than his share of questionable "business" decisions, Ozz has to change his identity every few years to avoid...unpleasantness.
Always eager to make a few coins, he's spent time with various performance troupes as well as several adventuring groups.

Is it uncouth to ask who is already in the party, to ensure we don't roll in with a near clone?
The other two are working on characters, but one already has a Grave Cleric ready.
Update: One is an Elven Rogue, the other is an Elven Monk.
