I am a relatively new DM. But have been wanting to run another game, I have run one or two one shots in real life, played a bunch of PbP here, but this will be my first time running a PbP so bear with me, and we can have fun together! Looking for about 6 players, a little more a little less never hurt
As far as Characters, anything that is Official DnD (including UA and CR), roll for stats here re roll 1s once and provide a link to you character. I do not have content sharing, so unless someone provides it, I will ask that you only choose things that you will have access too.

Backstory: Raigu was born into the upper caste in the legendary land of Kara-Tur. From a young age, he struggled to fit into the feudal system which governed every aspect of his society and to impress his father, a high-ranking courtier in the emperors court. At the age of 24, as part of his coming of age ceremony, Raigu was required to fight a duel with a youth from a rival samurai family. To his father's disgust, Raigu fell before the son of his father's most despised rival. Filled with shame, Raigu fled his homeland, vowing to return only after he had restored his lost honor.
On the road, Raigu learned a few magic tricks from a wandering monk to complement his martial prowess in combat. Wielding flail and fire, he wanders the western world in search of adventure and glory.

Sure! They could always be better! And there is a setting in the dice roller. there's a drop down that says reroll ones? we're going to set that to once, and it will populate it for you

I actually don't have a link to a character sheet because all 6 of my slots are currently in use (because I'm insane!!!). Would that pose a problem at all? I can provide a text version of the character sheet with updates after each level too. Otherwise...
Name: Kelvin Rabbitfoot
Race: Lightfoot Halfling
Class: Wizard (Diviner)
Backstory: Growing up with natural luck isn't easy. Good things come without much effort, sure, but it means you get a lot of jealous types. Lucky for Kelvin, his Lady sticks around even in the thick of things. His big break came they day he encountered Mortimer the Mad. Crazy old coot was wandering around town, staring through an emerald the size of an egg, but he was careless about it. He kept leaving it just out of reach to babble on and yell at the passing birds. When Kelvin tried to swoop in, the old man caught the halfling's wrist blind and started chanting some nonsense - or so it seemed to anyone passing by. To Kelvin, however, every word was pure, thinly-veiled prophesy. From then on, Kelvin followed the man, acting as steward and representative in more civilized areas, and pupil in the wilderness. For three years, Kelvin studied every book Mortimer carried and practiced every gesture and incantation he could decipher. Unfortunately, the crazed mage wasn't the greatest of teachers and, Kelvin always hoped, spoke in allegory more often than not.
In time, Kelvin parted ways with Mortimer, but old ways die slow and hard. With a pack full of "inherited" books, Kelvin went from town to town, plying the nuances of his new profession. Farmers and gamblers were the easiest, always buying into lucky charms and fortunes. Kelvin doesn't stay too long in any one place, though. Once people realize the items are a fraud, they tend to come in droves. Luckily for Kelvin, his Lady still sticks around to watch his back when things get hairy.

@barlow sure we can try that, I can share a template with you on google drive? And we can just edit it from there? I suppose. If we do get a lot of applications I may choose someone on dnd beyond over you, Just need to make things as simple as possible
@mindmadejace how did you end up with a 22, the highest possible rolled score would be and 18, why don’t you go ahead and roll all new stats with the re-roll one setting on.

There is a character concept I have been wanting to try but it requires an online dragonborn variant I found online, that myself and others I play with quite like the concept of (the variants) but I am yet to test myself.
The concept is a green dragonborn (Wildling Trait) Druid (Wannabe shepard) but if you would rather these variants are not used, I have a few back up race ideas that still work with my character concept and/or story.

No problem at all! I've been rolling on DDB PBP since before they had charactor creator, so I'm used to spinning up text sheets with full character breakdowns (melee classes are so much easier lol)

@Barlow, OrcPub 2 is also a viable third-party character builder if all your D&D Beyond slots are filled.
@mindmadejace, I believe you got that 22 because you rolled a 6 and forgot to drop the 5 as your lowest dice.

Hi there!
There is a character concept I have been wanting to try but it requires an online dragonborn variant I found online, that myself and others I play with quite like the concept of (the variants) but I am yet to test myself.
https://www.tribality.com/2015/02/02/richs-gameroom-more-than-a-color-dragonborn-part-1/
The concept is a green dragonborn (Wildling Trait) Druid (Wannabe shepard) but if you would rather these variants are not used, I have a few back up race ideas that still work with my character concept and/or story.
Regardless here here are my rolls.

@Zipnok the variants seem interesting, I would definitely take it into consideration
@Barlow yes I believe we played something before together! Let me see what I can do!

Drita - Aasimar Hexblade Warlock Lvl 3 Tomb of Annhilation
Iznik Sylnithas - Half Drow Blood Hunter Level 2 Precipice of Voids
@Agonzo516
I ended up homebrewing in the green variant dragonborn for a different campaign that didn't go ahead.
So what I will do is add links to two versions (variant and other race-tbc) of the character sheets
Then if you decide against the variants I still have the back up.
Is that ok?
That sounds perfect! When you roll for stats just specify who's is which
