The town of Dragonscroft borders between “small city” or “big town”. It’s set at a crossroads some days travel north of Vasileo’s capitol city and major port. With it sitting in the middle of trade routes there are always rumors of work and adventure. It’s mid day as your band of adventures come upon the outskirts of town.
"Ah. This looks like a nice old place. We must find the local tavern, celebrate our journey." Say Sol happily.

As you walk into town. It’s a bustling street path with vendors enticing passerby’s to their goods, workers clanging in the smithy’s ring out in the air. The roads are busy with horse and cart traffic carrying loads of supplies and merchandise. You also see some guards patrolling the area.
"Ah, the ring of hammers is music to my ears. I might check it out after we celebrate, maybe earn some more coin with a part time job." Sol looks around for the local tavern/inn, and failing to find one, will ask a guard.

Traxx looks around at the vendors seeing if any sell any magic scrolls or books. "Look at all these fascinating people. I could learn so much from all of them." Traxx scribbles some notes in his journal to document the town and the people. Traxx runs up to Kail "Kail! How long do you think we will be here? There is so much to research and they might have a dice game or two... I mean after we celebrate."

Sol- the guard is wearing chain armor and spear in hand. A picture of a blue circle on the pauldren. He mentions two inns “one is the nestled nook, place for the common folk and travelers. He points to the south side of town. “Then there is the Regal Rest which costs a pretty penny and is usually home to the visiting noble families. That’s right next to the Blu estate. He points to the north side of town..
Traxx- these things out here are more common items than anything that looks magical. Cooking supplies, linens, clothes, farming equipment and spare wagon parts. Some books, but mostly fiction.
Sky overhears the guard telling Sol about the inns. "I don't think we have the coin for The Regal Rest, but The Nestled Nook sounds nice enough. What do you say we go ask about some rooms for everyone Sol?"
Kail looks down at Traxx, with a large smile. “We’ll be here for as long as the people need us!” He replies, confidently. He kracks his knuckles before crossing his arms behind his back, and takes long, slow strides as we walk through the town.
“Nestled Nook it is.” He nods in agreement and politely to the guards as we make our way over to it.
Adoy follows his friends but remains silent, he always feels a little out of place in cities. But he nods and smiles in approval at the mention of the Nestled Nook, one thing Adoy always enjoys in cities is spending a little time in a small tavern with a good stiff drink and interesting company. The small disheveled gnome walks along a little more comfortably now that the group has a specific destination.
It remains a fairly busy town. Most of the trade happens in the middle under the big oak tree that raises out of the town center. It’s a warm day. You enter the nestled nook in. It’s descent sized about 12 tables with booths that wrap around and line the walls. Immediately as you walk in you’re hit with a blast of warm air. It’s hot and humid, with an earthy smell that fills the area (you’re not uncomfortable but can tell). There are a few groupings of people talking amongst themselves. A dwarves man with long red hair and a braided beard, a little red in the face is managing the tavern. His smock is stained but underneath is wearing some descent clothes. He looks up at you as the bell rings walking through the door. “Welcome to the Nestled Nook Inm, come in and stay a while! What can I get ya?”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kail flaps his Gi lapels, trying to flush some fresh air in across his chest. First thing he does when entering is try to get a gauge of the strongest being in the place. It's a habit of his, fueled by a mix of competitiveness and duty. Although, it's a little hard with all the booths.
You look around the pub. Filled with civilians and workers. You see a group of what looks like farmhands in the corner booth talking with each other. They appear to be physical but are unable to determine if it’s from fighting or labor in the field.
Adoy breathes deep and smiles, hot humid and earthy reminds him of his home burrows. He strolls up to the barkeep "Well met friend, I will take a pint of your finest ale." He the proceeds to make himself comfortable at the nearest unoccupied table.
Traxx walks into the inn. "Ah smells like home!" He makes his way to the bar "I'll have what he's having" pointing over to Adoy. After getting his drink Traxx sits at the table with Adoy. "There are a lot of interesting people in here Adoy. I think we shall hear some fascinating tales." Traxx looks around with an inquisitive look on his face. Traxx then pulls a book out of his pack and begins reading.

His eyes widened at the sound of his own words. There has also been some talk about missing crops and equipment from the warehouses.”
"Oh I have found that places like this are always full of interesting tales, not true tales mind you but interesting none the less." Adoy samples the mead with an audible slurp, "What is that you are reading?" He says indicating the book Traxx is reading.
"Well that's the fun of hearing the tales. Researching to see if they are true. There is always a bit of truth in every tale." Traxx replies to Adoy. "Oh this? This is a spell book. I have to read over the spells so that they are fresh in my mind. Also I have to read new spells so that eventually I will learn them." Traxx says tapping his temple. "In fact i just learned a new spell on our way here. It's called Witch Bolt." Traxx has a devious look in his eye. "I can't wait to use this one. It's a real nasty one too HAHA!"

"Ahhh, delicious. What do say we split a single room my friend, I will sleep on the floor, I prefer a good hard floor to those fluffy mattresses. Why back in the burrows, when I was still living with my badger family, I used to sleep on a slab of slate we dug up. That was over a hundred years ago mind you, I'm tougher now." He says before inhaling the other half of his drink, and burping loudly.
