Darion had grown up in a crossroads town. He had loved hearing the stories the travelers shared. The danger, battle, and adventure all seemed wonderful to him. But most of all the romance. One summer a traveling show setup near the town and Darion found himself infatuated with the shows sword dancer, Zariel, a Tiefling boy. They ended up spending much of their free time together that summer. Zariel tried teaching him to sword dance but Darion wasn’t quite nimble enough to get it down. He was rather skilled with a quarter staff and found that he was able to transfer that skill over to other pole arms. He started practicing with a glaive Zariel and he had found in the shows spare equipment, eventually putting together an act with it. When it came time for the show to move on Darion snuck away with Zariel and joined the show. Sometime later there was some trouble with robberies in a city they were performing near and as often happens the show was blamed. The blame quickly fell to the Tiefling member, Zariel. Try as they might the show was not able to convince the authorities of Zariel’s innocence. When they tried to take him by force things went poorly and a fight between the towns gaurd and the shows folk broke out. Darion and Zariel fought bravely together but were outnumbered and overwhelmed. In an act of desperation Zariel broke away drawing the gaurd to him yelling at Darion to run. The other performers saw what Zariel was doing and knocked out Darion making their escape. They learned later that the guard had exsecuted Zariel shortly after capturing him. After that Darion couldn’t bare to stay with the show. And he struck off on his own. It didn’t take long before Farion found himself mixed up with another group. This time a group of adventurers. Feeling very much like he was living in one of those stories he loved growing up Darion embraced this new life of adventuring with his new allies. Roaming the land, fighting evil, even enjoying romances along the way. But always in the back of his mind was his first lost love. Eventually he grew weary of adventures and decided to settle down. Still to this day hoping that he would someday find another who meant to him as much as Zariel had.
Class: Fighter (Eldritch Knight) 12 / Druid (Circle of the Land) 8
Omaro is the second-born son of what outsiders would say were elf nobles. As with many elven communities, Omaro's community esteemed skill over fortune, money or might. Omaro's father was a master of the sword. Omaro's mother was a master of the druidic arts. Because of their skill, Omaro's parents were part of their community's circle of leaders. Omaro's twin sister, Amara (she was born two minutes before Omaro), chose to study the blade like her father. Because of this, Amara — who is much more driven and matured more quickly than Omaro — encouraged Omaro to follow in their mother's footsteps and study the druidic arts. Omaro was intrigued by the druidic arts, but was also intrigued by the sword. To confuse matters further, he was also interested in the arcane. In the end, Omaro chose to not master any one subject, but to study all three: fighting, the druidic arts, and magic.
Growing up in his family's shadow, Omaro learned the ways of bureaucracy. But he distanced himself from any kind of leadership. He was more interested in acting, rather than planning. Meetings bored him. He loved to go and do. Halfway into his second century, Omaro left home to become an adventurer. He traveled Faerun, honing his skills and expanding his knowledge. Now over 200 years old, Omaro is not a master, but is very skilled in fighting, magic and the druidic arts.
I'd like to talk about options for items Omaro might have picked up during his adventures. Are you allowing special items to be added to the equipment list to represent their experiences?
How about Mithral Chain Mail (AC 16, no stealth disadvantage) and Shield of Missile Attraction (cursed; makes holder target of any ranged weapon attack within 10 feet, but gives resistance to damage from ranged weapon attacks)?

Well I chose you so when do you want to start?
Ready when you are.
Would you be interested in running the same single-player campaign with two different players so long as they don't read what the other is doing?
Sure.

Sounds good I'll put you into a new thread so you two aren't hindering each other.
