Ok so, i have been playing a Goblin Race character. and i wanted to see what others thought of this, as Goblins in general have such a strange and varying race, given their adaptability.
would there be any kind of way a goblin may find another of its kind pet material. Idk... i kinda wanted to see other peoples opinions or ideas of this over all.
And given how some campaigns people have a bunch of random monsters as pets and things.... what all would be possible options of pets for a Goblin?
2. I'd argue no, while an Evil Goblin may keep another of his own kind as a "pet" (aka, slave), most goblins share a strong sense of "community" and "kin" with other members of their race and would shy way from that; that said, they'll likely be much more open to keeping a apprentice, follower or youngling by their side, wither as a show of power, or in order to train them
1. Im kinda new to dnd beyond, and still figuring out how to work all this, so ... Sorry if a noob posting in the wrong place rubbed you wrong.
and
2. fair enough, i had however been thinking along the lines of how even "good" humans had servants they refer to as pets and things... and from my pov goblins are more for the Hoard as a whole not so much individual kin. But i guess that may all fall to how people picture Goblins interacting with one another.

1. Is PbP really the best place to ask this?
