Relania was born to a human woman of loose morals but keen business sense. Not wanting to raise a child in her environment, Rel was handed over to the priesthood of light. She was a devoted child, but chafed under rules and training. The tyrant came to her homeland, deposing the benevolent theocracy. Relania aided the soldiers as long as she could, but in the end, she was commanded to get the rest of the children out. She manaaged to do so, but was herself trapped when a building collapsed.
While unconscious, she heard a voice and saw something although she can't recall it's form, just warmth and light. It said it could save her if she agreed to be a warrior against the darkness. She agreed, and awoke. She found she could just wriggle enough she could move forward, freeing herself from the rubble. She had a sense of purpose at last. She has spent her time since then fighting the forces of the tyrant and helping those oppressed by him.

Kriavor was a gladiator, he used to perform in rituals and used to entertain most of the tribesman alongside his brother Karruk. Their kind never really had any contact with humans or smaller people (and weaker) they weren't inherently evil and basically lived from whatever they could get from nature. But he was the sole survivor of everyone and everything he knew. He was fishing on the biggest lake nearby and as he was setting traps underwater a big explosion made him fall unconscious at the bottom of the lake, something kept him alive (whatever happened evaporated the entire lake, but he was alive) the only thing Kriavor was..."those humans and their magic..." So he went to see the king but before he could reach them he found along the way that this affect them as much as it affected him.
As you all start to drift off to sleep, the wind begins to surge, building in its intensity. The wildlife has all stilled and a strange tingling feeling to all those who use magic. Those without so much use of magic can see a visible dimming to the natural world - it is if the night istelf is coming to claim the camp. The wind is now strong enough to completely extinguish the camp fire, and the rustling of the trees now makes it difficult to hear one another. Suddenly - a crack of luminous green lightning cracks the sky. Followed by another almost instantly hitting a nearby tree, felling a branch to the ground. The wind now becomes a whirling torrent and as the rain starts to increase in its volume, it becomes dagger like as it slashes into unexposed skin.

Aluviel jumps and the lightning strikes and her hand instantly snatches the lute by her sleeping sack rather than the blade. The former being more precious to her than the latter. Despite the lightning striking the tree she moves herself near to one in hopes to gain some cover form the howling wind and then begins to look for her companions and source of the tingling magic she feels.
