"The Rising Sun" headquarters is a large U shaped three story building. The first floor is comprised of quartermaster and supplies, mess hall, and the space inside the U is a training ground with archery/crossbow targets, practice dummies, and a circular space of to one side for sparring matches. Second floor is a bunkhouse where non officers sleep the left side is for women and the right is for men, there are tables setup where some like to gamble, mainly this is where members unwind and try to relax. The third story is where the officers sleep with offices attached to their personal rooms, the keeps library and records are also stored on this level.
There is a rough outline of what you will find here, I am still trying to get caught up from my time off last week, but feel free to explore a little bit, and if you have need of an NPC I will be checking in periodically. But take some time to RP and get to know each others characters and we will start soon I promise.
Sultrin Turnuroth is a massive brass coloured dragonborn. During the day, he'd be found in the training yard. Unlike many wielders of the arcane, he is as comfortable in melee as he is at range, blasts of fire intermixed with strikes from his heavy quarterstaff, trusting his thick scales to protect him from most attacks. In the evening he'd be gambling with his fellow members, casual and fun rather than competitive.
Davoris a half-elf man with blue eye, short cropped white hair, angular features, standing at 6" 180lbs, dressed in his regular chainmail that he wears constantly spend the down time after the very odd events of the last job training in the yard spear and shield in hand. In the afternoons he would watch the others gamble with each other laughing at their jibs towards each others skill but never actually joining the games and every morning at sunrise and sunset he can be found by his bed side in prayer to Torm, The Loyal Fury, The True, the Hand of Righteousness.
Even thou tall and muscular for a Halfling, 3' 8" and 40lb, Chester has a easy charm to him as He will always have a smile upon his face as he goes about even the most mundane of tasks. During most days if not practicing his craft with either the scouts or rouges within the company he can be found in the training yard practicing his sword play on the dummies, this will be done with an enthusiasm of someone not wanting to be caught off guard.
As the afternoon deepens he will either retire to the companies common room where he will either be playing cards or entertaining his comrades on his lute, very rarely will you see any alcohol actually pass his lips even thou he will always have a drink in front of him. If not in the common room he will be either studying his craft in the library or entertaining the street kids with card tricks and slight of hand near the front entrance.
Oran heads down to the common room. The half wood elf has jet black hair shaved on either side, the ruffled center forms a sort of wide mohawk. He has multiple metal piercings on his ears and a ring on his nose. His black leather armor and his dark clothes would make one think otherwise, but he always greets others with a cheer and a smile.
He always enjoys wacthing Sultrin mix fire into his fighting. Oran does train but he'd rather forage the wilderness' herbs for his remedies, berries for his dyes and be on the lookout for interesting animals.
He is not very good at card games but he enjoys them! He also enjoys making music although he knows his style is of a different taste.
COME ON YOU LAZY GREASE BALLS!! TIME FOR DINNER!! You all hear the companies cook, Ozrox the half-orc, call everyone for dinner. He is a behemoth of a creature, standing at almost 7' tall and weighing in just shy of 400lbs substantial amount of that being muscle. He is a mean spirited man who can cook like a royal chef. You all sit down to a meal of either roast chicken and vegetables, or a savory rich stew made from beef.
“Hey Durim”, Chester says as he plops himself without invite next to the dwarf with a bit of stew spilling onto the table, “How’s the stew? It looks amazing right? I must say for one grumpy mountain of muscles Oz can sure cook. Thou after prison food you could give me a cracker and I’d be like this is the best cracker ever, this is a special cracker right, wow what a cracker!”
He smiles takes a mouthful of stew and then just rambling on about nothing in particularly, only stopping occasionally to have a mouthful of stew.
Sultrin will sit near them with his plate of chicken and vegetables, "Anyone hear about any new jobs we could take yet? Hate sitting around like this."
Taking a seat next to Sultrin saying a short prayer to Torm "I am definitely ready for some more work but still a bit trepidation after the oddball of the last one." eating the roasted chicken and vegetables.
With a bowl of stew in hand Oran joins the group across from Chester. "Guys I just wanna mention Eldrigs. He'll be alright. If anyone can handle themselves out there it's him." He eats his stew as fast as possible then tries to follow Chester's ramblings. He enjoys trying to follow them. They're like a game and a show together.
Once you have all had your fill and people are starting to empty the mess hall, Ozrox comes to your table and with a slight grin on his face he says, Well you lot better head up to the boss' office, he sent a message down earlier asking for your squad. But i figured it was better you had a meal in ya before going to see ole Elias, I reckon he will pretty keyed up y'all left him waiting this long, he hasn't even had his dinner yet. With a grin and a few chuckles Ozrox turns and heads back to the kitchen.
After using the last of the bread to wipe his bowl clean Chester jumps up and runs to catch up with the others waving his thanks to Ozrox. "Do you think we have another job, I sure hope so as the locks in this place are getting boring thou I do enjoy the fact that they lock them again every night."
Entering Commander Elias' office you see a rather simple office with a large window that overseas the training grounds below. There is a large meeting table in the middle of the room, with a large map and miniatures spread out on it with several stacks of paper for notes. There are 3 large bookshelves containing various books, scrolls. Standing behind a large simple desk is a human, wearing silver chain mail with a large symbol of Sarenrae over his left breast and a rather wicked looking scimitar hanging from his hip. He has many scars over his face and arms and his close cropped hair is starting to grey at the temples. Hearing you all walk in he looks up and gives you all a friendly smile. Ah! Finally I have been waiting for you all for close to an hour now, I hope everything is fine, but we have finally gotten a mission I believe is good for your first run as initiate members. We have been hired by a nobleman in the north who is dealing with some wicked rumors of an old curse that he believes may be coming to fruition. Make sure you pack cold gear, this place is constantly covered in snow this time of year and will most certainly be freezing by the time you get there. You will need to make contact with Nobleman Zelus before starting your mission of gathering information and gauging the threat level. If you believe you can take care of whatever the situation may be do so, or contact us here and we will send what help we can.
Also if you would all try and NOT lose a member of your party this time I would greatly appreciate it.
“We’ll keep that in mind sir. Any information about this rumour or what curse he’s talking about?” Sultrin will ask as he picks up a couple of the miniatures to examine them.

Durim is in the chapel and prays for Eldrigs well being, may it be in this life or the next.

Durim slowly eats his stew. Silent, still thinking what may have happened during their last mission.

Davoris stands sighing slightly "Leave it to Ozrox to be a pain but my gods he can cook" and he makes his way up the stairs for the main office.
Oran joins well curious to know what mission may come next.
Sultrin will heave his bulk up away from the table and start following the others.
„Oh Ozrox, you could be so much more, if you would stop with those pranks.“
Durim joins the others on the way to the office.
