After watching Geek and Sundrys special with Terry Crews I was inspired to run a one shot very similar to theirs! Basically two teams of three players each will be trying to get to a certain location on a newly discovered island. At the end both teams will engage the other to see who wins!
If youre interested, please let me know if youd like to be on the Empires side(Humans, gnomes, dwarves etc.) Or the Fallen side (Drow, Half-orcs etc.) Once we have six players we can start. You can roll for stats or take a standard array whichever you prefer. Only request is no Warforged, other races are totally fine. You'll be starting off at level 5, and not starting with any magic items.

Backstory: Giovanni grew up in the sewers of the big city side by side with his four brothers. Freshly hatched, they were adopted by a giant rat and trained in the way of the shadow. At some point in their storied history Giovanni touched a magic hubcap and began tumbling through space, time, and universe. Trapped in another world, Giovanni does what his father trained him to do. Like his legendary brothers he will protect the land from the shadows. Leo used a katana, Mickey used nunkchaku, Ralph wielded dual sais, and Donnie always had his stick. Donning the black mask, Gio masters the shadows themselves and uses his bare friggen hands. Cowabunga.
My man misses pizza real hard tho...and he finds himself on this team hoping to raise enough money to create and own this worlds first pizza kitchen.
I absolutely love it! I'm assuming you'll be wanting him on the "Good Empire" side right? So still 2 slots open gor them and 3 open for the "Evil Empire" side.

She is a Wizard specializing in temporal magic, and as many of her spells as possible are flavored as affecting time in a way that is beneficial to her. She uses her "portents" and "luck points" to peer through the veil of time, actively choosing which of the timelines she saw comes to pass.

Brief backstory: Hordak was wrongly accused of a crime in the Empire at a young age and learned to pick locks and cause trouble in prison. Upon the eve of his release he was taken in by a cult devoted to the fallen's ideals and made to be a Cleric of their order.

And yea id have to agree. After we get everyone I'll get the first post up, hopefully should clarify a few things I probably should have been more detailed with.
I don't like to use stuff I don't have access to on Dndbeyond. So if there is content sharing perhaps I'll switch, but otherwise I feel there would be powers other than the drow that are part of an allied faction... Unless orc and half orcs are slaves.

Ah gotcha fair enough. And no, half orcs are fine, just more standard for clerics to be drow but I agree there should at least be allied factions. So yea nevermind youre good to go!

As the Empires ship the "Storm Rider" sails through the crisp blue sea, the white tips of the waves crashing against her hull, slowly rocking back and forth from the constant badgering from the sea, three forms stand atop the deck. An island recently discovered by the Empire, rumored to have rare metals and rocks, is under threat of being claimed by the Fallen, an evil coalition of the less than favorable, is attempting to stake claim to this island and its possible hoard of rare materials. You three know you must get their first at all costs. The Emperor himself has approved this voyage, finding it appatently that important to him.
If the navigation and charts are correct, your captain for this voyage has informed you that you should be spotting land shortly. (If you three would like to introduce your characters)
Meanwhile..
On a course very similar to their Imperial competitor's, likewise three forms are found atop the deck of the "Banes Nest" making good speed towards the coordiantes attained through one of the most elite spies in the Fallens ranks. Seeing how important the Empire had made this mission out to be, the leaders of the Fallen arranged for a competing ship to be launched as quickly as possible. With limited information about what might await once one the island, the group was told to be preparred for anything.

Standing in near the captains post is a tall land grizzly half orc. He wears metal armor, matted grey as not to shine. He wears a shield emblazoned with a setting orange sun with purple skies and a black sea. The light seems to have less purchase in his presence, an aura of dim twilight hangs like a mantle off his shoulders as she peers toward the island.
Also standing near the boat's captain is a yellow-skinned figure with russit-colored hair and storm-gray eyes. He has a longsword at his side and a shield across his back. "I hope the rewards they told us about will be worth this." He calls to the half-orc. His voice is soft and calm. The chain mail he wears jingles as his body shifts with the movement of the boat.
