“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
You’re all peacefully asleep aboard the Monarch when you are violently awakened by the ship rocking and shaking the sound of small explosions and fighting can be heard outside your rooms
Finnegan awakens to the sound of fighting. Rubbing his eyes, the Tiefling yawns. Lazily looking around and scratching his back, he dinks some wine from the waterskin. Apperantly having slept in his clothes, he says to himself.
"Damn. I have to stop drinking like this."
Strapping on his scale mail and his mutagen belts, Finnegan takes a sip of of his Wariness extract. As his pulips dilute, Finnegan coughs to clear his throat.
*BLAM*
Blasing the door open, he stood there with a wicked grin on his face, blade beared, and shouted:
Sarisa Chafton awaken to the sound of fighting. "Damn, it what the hell is going along. I do not like being disturbed from my beauty sleep," She says waking up washing her face grabbing her light hammer.
Woken from the sweet depths of a delightful dream, Augustus opens his eyes a bit at the unexpected sounds from outside his comfortable cabin. Sighing as the memory of lovely tastes fade from his lips, he throws back the duvet and grabs his sword belt from the bedpost.
"Just when it was getting interesting, too. What cad chooses now to be a pest in my sweet dreams?" He says as he draws on his boots and a tunic, belting his sword before opening the door and seeing what silly buggers have decided to play.

Varel sat up with a start at the sudden din. "Huh! What!?" He muttered incoherently as he slowly shook off the fog of sleep. Then, as the import of the noises finally struck home, the impetuous genasi leaped out of bed. Not bothering to change out of his sleeping garments, he wove a simple protective spell and snatches and fastened on his belt adorned with various knives and pouches and rushing for the door, his unkempt white hair wafting behind him.
Roarken is shaken from his sleep. He sits up, unsure if this is normal room service to awaken a guest on one of these flying ships, but then he hears the sounds of what he believes to be fighting. He frowns to himself, wondering how much fighting the people of this part of the world generally get into, but realizes that helping keep the ship safe is probably the proper etiquette, as well as the safest way to reach his next destination. He grabs his axe and steps into his boots, then opens the door. He is wary, ready for any immediate threats, but also aware he does not know everyone on board, so he will refrain from fighting until he is attacked.
As you all step out you see each other in the hall and feel the ship shake. three figures enter the or your hallway you occupy, the largest steps forward and brandishes his cutlass at you all. "Your money or your life,"he says. The others quickly move to flank and support him.
the lead thug moves to attack Finnigan slashing with his cutlass Attack: 6 Damage: 6
the leader swings down with his blade but Finn draws his greatsword and deflects the cutlass off the flat of his blade. the leader growls and spits in Finn's face. Finn pushes the thug off his blade and readies his counter-attack.
the left thug moves to slash at Sarisa Attack: 22 Damage: 10
The thug attacking Sarisa appears to have been luckier having struck a heavy blow against her and dealing a large amount of damage. The cutlass slashes across her chest and the armor. Sarisa clutches her chest blood seeping from the wound
Scoffing at the clumsy actions of the overlarge miscreant, Augustus surges forward, engaging the big guy with a sideways stance and a thrusting rapier. Dancing and weaving around his opponent, his narrow blade suddenly shines with green, flickering flame. "You owe me a dream, thief. I think I'll detail the script of it on your flesh!" With that, he drives forward and slips the blade deep into the flesh of his opponent, a small flame flicking off of it on impact to hit another nearby foe. Still moving fluidly, he slips back out of weapons reach, daring them to move in to his defense.
Casting Green Flame Blade - Attack: 25 Damage: 9 plus Sneak attack - 6. Green flame does 1 point to other nearby thug. Disengage Bonus Action to move back 10 feet to prevent AOO. If the primary foe falls, transfer to next nearest target, even if the Green Flame cannot reach the next foe.

Roarken laughs out loud at his enemies. "Ha! I have almost no money, and would not give it to you. And you will find taking my life too much for your abilities. Grahhhhh!" He bellows as he charges right at the apparent leader, swinging his great axe wildly...

Sarisa, extends her left arm towards her attacker while still holding the hammer. She, lets the hammer temporary drop while it still hangs from her wrist attached by a leather strap.
A frigid ray of frost emanates from her out stretched hand. It streaks towards her attacker.
She, will then back up out of melee from her attacker.
Varel blinked the last of the sleep out of his eyes as combat exploded around him. He did focus on the pirate calling for help. "Now now, let's not make things too crowded!" He exclaimed as he moved forward, hands moving in esoteric gestures. As he did so, wind seemed to swirl around him, briefly lifting him off the ground and wafting him over and past the embattled occupants of the hallway to quickly to react to as he spoke words of power. He landed lightly in front of the pirate and the doorway. "I'm afraid you should go inform you friends that they will be slightly delayed." He then finished his casting and a powerful gust of wind erupted from him, slamming into the pirate and careening through the door towards the oncoming reinforcement.

Roarken grins as several of the attackers move to fight him. Vague shapes that almost appear to be humanoid swirl around him, gesturing at the pirates, goading them to attack the large man with the pale blonde hair.
If can gain Advantage with flanking from allies, he will not go Reckless. But if Reckless is the only way he can Advantage, so be it.
