a magic festival in the city of titan-grave is coming soon, and you are all going to it, how fun! Destiny lurks behind street corners and alley ways, it hunts for adventurers, adventurers like you...
Hello! This campaign is going to be a level 1-10 campaign! It focuses on a prophecy and the fate of the world!
Answer these questions so I can choose who will play
dnd experience:
favorite thing about DnD:
Two party roles you would like to fill: (like healing, tanking, meele fighting, archery, caster, gish, ETC)
Experience: I've been in multiple smaller campaigns, and am currently hosting one campaign. I also enjoy homebrewing anything that comes to mind.
Favorite thing about DnD: Probably combat, shortly followed by seeing how the world and characters change as the story runs it's course.
Two party roles you would like to fill: (like healing, tanking, meele fighting, archery, caster, gish, ETC): Not particularly attached to any playstyle, but I'm a fan of melee combat and/or archery Striker builds.
DnD Experience: 3 years of DnD role playing and study but I've been doing fantasy story telling for a long time.
Favorite thing about DnD: Getting to see people live vicariously through a character that is just a reflection of their world view, and rolling dice is really fun too.
Two Party rolls I'd like to fill: Party Face (Social) / (magical) Melee fighting
(I'm currently obsessed with building a fighter warlock. Just an eldrich night but warlock style, and two weapon fighting. It's hard to flush out what with power spikes and dips at different levels, and multiclassing messing with ASI's and potential feats, but I'm figuring it out. )

Hello, interested in joining.
This is probably one of the shorter introductions to a campaign I think I've seen, but honestly, it's also one of the more intriguing. Definitely interested.
Experience: I first learned DnD with the old AD&D - played a lot and DM'd even more but then there was a decent sized recess while life made sure there was never four hours in a row to get together with anyone to play. That's still pretty much impossible, but PbP has been a gift from the gods. I've played a couple of 5e campaigns and I've DM'd a small group through some homebrew.
Favorite thing about DnD: The creativity of the players and DMs is always amazing. And the unexpected mixing of different characters makes for very rich worlds. I also like that with the right trusting group, you can take a little bit of time to work out the kinks of your character and find their voice. And then at the end of the day, who doesn't like a good combat dust up.
Two party roles you would like to fill: (like healing, tanking, meele fighting, archery, caster, gish, ETC): I'm open to filling the gaps, but I've done a lot of tanking lately. Would like to go down a stealth / archery mix if possible.
D20 Roll: 11 D4 Roll: 3
Thanks for considering me.
(WOW - hope a critical miss isn't an auto eject here).

Experience: I started playing DnD decades ago, with AD&D. I was both a player and DM, but, after college, our group went their separate ways and I never found another group to play with. I started playing again about 3-4 months ago here on DnD Beyond. I have played on other PbP games over the years and enjoyed those as well.
Favorite thing about DnD: The roleplaying, and the creativity. While the DM does alot of the creation (or world building), there are still ample opportunities for players to be creative, both in their descriptions of the world and in their actions. One thing I do like about PbP over "in person" sessions is that the character development is more emphasized. In posts, you can talk about your characters thoughts, which often don't occur during in person sessions.
Two party roles you would like to fill: Wizard/melee fighting. I've mostly played the melee fighting types here on DnD Beyond, simply because they seem to be missing or in short supply in many parties. I have no problem continuing to fill that role, but, I would like to try my hand at a magic-user type. I haven't had the chance to try out the new spell-casting rules in 5e.
D20 roll: 1
D4 roll: 4
edit: What are the odds of me matching Thoradin's rolls?
dnd experience: Had books for 3rd, but never had anyone to play with where I grew up. School happened, and never got around to playing until 5e (well, was in one 3.5 pbp game), and have played with some local friends in a couple campaigns over the years, ran some 5e one shots in a shared world with a pbp game I've been running for the last 4 years in another forum. Since this summer, I've been running a digital West Marches style game in roll20, and have only just gotten into games in this forum, having started one this past week and applied for a few, but not yet been accepted into any here.
favorite thing about DnD: Toss up between the collaborative story telling and those moments when everything comes together to pull off something creative and surprising.
Two party roles you would like to fill: (like healing, tanking, meele fighting, archery, caster, gish, ETC): Willing to do what is needed, but most recent characters have been more heavy melee tank types, so might like to dabble in long range (archery or caster).

Experience:
Dungeon & Dragons 1st Ed. on table top got me hooked, been playing ever since. Started my first PbM a few decades ago playing a crazy paladin, he tried riding a Basalisk one night and, well one can imagine what a ride that might have been. Started with DnD Beyond a year or so ago.
Favorite thing about Dnd? Well, to be honest, DnD.
I enjoy playing devious characters, either conniving rogues or wizards who think they know a thing or two.

Delightful introduction I say, promises to be surprising.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
favorite thing about DnD: Collaborative story-telling! It's always been my favorite thing to do. I've also grown to really enjoy those really cool combat moments when you actually manage to pull of something that your character is supposed to be good at!
Two party roles you would like to fill: Healing or Tank
DnD experience: played way way back in the AD&D days, mostly as a DM. I got back into it this year and play multiple games on PBP here as well as house games (Zoom now).
Favorite things about DND: I love watching a party figure out mind blowing ways to navigate situations. There are always so many possibilities in handling an encounter and I like working through problems as they come.
Two party roles: spell casting and stealthy fighting
I'm going to withdraw my application for this campaign. It still sounds interesting and a lot of the responses from the other players look like a good group could be formed, but I've suddenly found myself in a couple of extra campaigns and definitely don't want to stretch myself too thin and ruin game play for others. Good luck with this one.
dnd experience: I've played 3.5e and ran a couple of games, then lost interest just in time for 4e to come out. I've been back in the mix for about a year as a player.
favorite thing about DnD: being useful in and out of combat
Two party roles you would like to fill: support caster or blaster caster

dnd experience: been playing 5e for over 3 years now, tried some of the other editions for a bit before that, but only really got into it after I found out about playing online
favorite thing about DnD: the fun that can come from character interaction
Two party roles you would like to fill: skill-monkey / gish
