Looking at his to be new companions, Niossae goes through a mental list of bounties that he read from the board. "Vine blights and Kobolds seems to be what we are choosing to hunt, yes? It will be interesting to find out if my skills will be as effective against vines as they will be against kobolds."
To put things in perspective I took a liberty. I hope The DM dose not mind. Virst, Is it morning time still?
The morning breeze blows softly through the fields, shifting the fields of wheat in unison as it travels. Like a golden sea, it rises and falls with the push of the wind. A content scene as the farmers go about, tending to their livestock or doing chores about the farm. Although at the top of the hill lies a small fort, it doesn't tower above them. Instead, they look to it for safety it brings their family and livelihood. The road inclines upward towards the keep and just outside its gates is a giant board. Filled with various bounties, requests, and pleas, the wind ruffling them as they're tacked to the board. Various people enter the keep, rangers still clad in dirt and leaves; swordsmen with all manors of swords; even bards as they play and sing of their journeys. Each one stops to look at the board, and either they smile or grimace, a few happily shout while others swear
Tren shrugs "Yes Niossae, I agree start small then work your way up" looking to his new companions. "Does everyone agree? We split any treasure we find and the bounties we collect evenly as possible. If we find magic it will be sold or given to the person who can use it best."
"Sure, sure" trogon says a bit distracted, thinking of all these bounties. But also thinking about what the €#@& a stirge sac and a why we would have to kill vines?
" What's a stirge sac?" He says " and does anyone have any idea on how to beat things like this......this vine?"
" Do we know where they are or are just gonna walk and see?"

"Hopefully those rations turn out to not be necessary. It is already getting fairly late as is. And as I have expressed before, we should avoid having to stay out more than a few hours >at best< past dark. Any more, and we may find ourselves fairly overwhelmed quick by darker things."Gregor re-iterates calmly to the others. "But if there's any more supplies left to be retrieved, let it be done swiftly."On that note, Gregor settles near the board, intending to wait there for the newly joined to run their last minute errands.
If there is no objections to move out sooner, he looks to Kain or any of the more visibly armored of the companions to lead the proverbial charge into the forest. Once deep enough side to begin hunting Gregor helps where he can in the pursuit by providing feedback on questions about the sort of habitats, condition, or habits of the prey they seek where possible to those leading the hunt.
He otherwise sticks either to middle or back of the formation, citing being of far more use there than anywhere else.
(Planning to edit this later with color when I have the chance)
(Also, wondering if any supply runs can be retroactive just to keep things moving Virst?)
Tren says to the group "Well, I know that I can't see as well in the dark as some. If any here can see well, hmm.."
the wheels turn in his head "Maybe as we go and since I'll need a torch those that see better could lag behind use me as bait to surprise and kill things."
While Lyon had mostly been silent during the recent introduction she finally decided to speak up when they discussed moving out. "If it gets more dangerous at nightfall should we wait for the morning to leave then? I can't see very well at night either." She looked a little guilty at the idea her shortcomings might stall the group. "But as for the kobold, I might be able to find him or at least tell him apart. If we can find where they are I can detect magic and figure out which has the dagger."
"maybe a map or some soldier who has been in the forest and is willing to tell where to go to. Cause I don't have any money to buy a guide" trogon says.
Trogon looks around to see if there is some mapstore, a "tourist information desk" or a bar with drunken soldiers
" I think friend that we are all kinda short on money, why our presence here, now i reckon we should get some more informations before going in the dark, litteraly.."
"Does it says who as posted this request, or is there any more informations on it?"

Gregor sighs and shakes his head. Pausing mid-start at the offered berries, he goes on to say while pocketing them, "There is still enough daylight out right now as to make the odds of having to deal with the night less. Not to mention, we are not going too deep. And with or without a map, we'll >know< when we're starting to get too deep in the woods."He crosses his arms.
"As for guides, we'll more than likely be out of luck there. With the dangers having escalated to what they are, the closest thing we're likely find to as guide are the more experienced hunters like ourselves. And they are likely to be too busy, or just cost too much to try and hire.. As Mister Kain here has said. Though if you all wish to ask any off duty guards about maps or details about thing's they've faced in the past..." He shrugs."But with things being what they are, we're likely to learn more relevant news from those on patrol in the outskirts."
"As for the requests having more on them? Depends on if they're a capture target or not. As I understood it, the general "trophy" ones are those reported and posted by the pact to help keep things at least a little organized with folk like us." As much as Gregor tried to effect an even toned, his foot kept tapping behind him.
Tren listens to Gregor's statment "Aye lets go then, Gregor I'll leave it to you to tell us when we should start heading back to town. I'll go first and keep an eye out for traps and such."
He turns and starts walking towards the dread singing a Sailors song and doing a little jig.

perhaps our friends can do so as well. If that is what you need."

Trogon grabs his book, mumbles a bit and after a short while 10 berries appear in his hand. He gives each of his companions 2 and says:
" they'll make you feel better when you're hurt. But you can only use them within the next 24 hours"
