The local duchess believes her daughter’s mind has cracked... several months ago, she found several signs that her daughter had been torturing and killing small animals. Then engaging in mind control magics, and necromantic rituals. Then jewels, and diamonds started appearing. Guards who had served the duchess loyally for years had turned from her in favor of a sick lust for her daughter. When the Duchess determined to put an end to it, she found that her daughter had left, and created a demesne within the dark woods, with body guards and wicked beasts for protection. The duchess, ever forgiving, thought to leave the girl alone so long as she remained outside of the kingdom. The duchess then began to feel herself grow old and weak... there’s no time anymore. This is clearly the result of some terrible ritual.
The duchess needs adventurers to kill... Snow White.

Apply! This going to be pretty casual, aimed more at having fun with a Disney theme, which may continue into other settings after this one, depending on how it goes. Bonus points to characters with backgrounds that tie in to other Disney movies. You can’t just say “I’m simba” though. I want a background which portrays bad guys as good guys, and good guys as bad guys.
Hans was sent running from the now-winter-locked lands of Queen Elsa and her sister princess Anna, where Hans tried to lead the people against the evil sisters. Failing to do more than get half of the people turned into ice statues, Hans barely escaped with his own life. He came to the Duchess for aid, in hopes of raising an army to fight against the winter queen and her devious sister.
Do you have alignment requirements/restrictions? I saw you said good guys and bad guys. I have a pretty twisted backstory in mind so would be slowly siding into evil alignment.
Prince Philip is well known for uniting the kingdom of his father King Hubert with the kingdom of King Stefan and Queen Leah, when he married their daughter Princess Aurora. Better known in legend as Sleeping Beauty. It's been said he's friends of Faeries and possess magical arms but that's all in the past. Once the adventure of saving the sleeping princess with his kiss was done and the reality of ruling set in he found that life as a ruler was tedious and boring. What was worse is that he had an awful secret that ate away at him. He had done more that just kiss Aurora while she was in her cursed sleep. It's been eating away at him and his marriage for years. He's taken to hiring in women in hopes of replicating the experience but it always falls short.
When he heard of the Duchesses plight he played it off to Aurora that duty called. He must go and help break this evil curse. But all he could think about were the tales of lust that seemed to surround Snow White. Perhaps... maybe... she could fill this terrible void. He MUST find her!

Backstory:
For centuries the iron-fisted monarch Triton and his daughters had ruled over Atlantis, hording much of the nation's wealth to build their beautiful palaces and leaving little to the hard-working citizens. Born from humble beginnings, Ursula used her gifts of magic to brighten the lives of those poor unfortunate souls by granting their heart's desires - one longing to be thinner, or another to get the girl.
One day, Princess Ariel, Triton's favourite daughter, came to seek Ursula's help in wooing a human sailor. After hearing her tale, Ursula tried and tried to dissuade the princess, who had apparently never even spoken to this man, but Ariel refused to listen and claimed she loved him. Sympathy getting the better of her judgement, Ursula performed a dark, ancient ritual and granted the girl's wish to walk on land. Unbeknownst to Ursula, this gift in the name of love would unleash Ariel the Red, on the land of man. Once the rumors of a demon in the skin of a princess reached Atlantis, Ursula vowed to find Ariel and destroy the vile abomination she had created.
Ursula's search has led her here, to the service of the duchess....
Backstory: The princess wishes to see Agrabah fall to ruin! She betroths a lowly street rat after her father's suspicious untimely death. Feeling the kingdom falling to cutthroats and opulence, the late-Sultan's advisor Jafar turns to his established studies to discover secrets of a cave, and within a small torch of hope...
Hearing Jasmine and her lowlife lover creeping in on his plans through the eyes of Iago, Jafar's parrot familiar, the advisor flees Agrabah and stumbles upon another who is in need of helps, and perhaps a source of knowledge to be one step closer to find the cave, and save Agrabah...
Did she neglect to tell the authorities that she found an abandoned child in the city? Yes. Does she deserve to be seen as a kidnapper because of it? Of course not! Gothel raised that child as her own daughter! When her hair started glowing, she didn’t even scream. When she grew into a young woman is when it all went wrong. A prince heard her singing and tried to take her away from our home! But the girl was a shut-in. Mother Gothel didn’t force her to stay in that tower, she wanted to stay. It was that prince who kidnapped her and gave her Stockholm syndrome that changed her child. When Mother Gothel rushed to save her baby Repunzel, she’d been convinced that she was the royal child who had been lost 18 years before. The rulers were so crazy to find their daughter they took Repunzel from the only family she’d ever known and turned her against her. Mother Gothel tried to tell the queen that this wasn’t her daughter but she wouldn’t hear it, and the king and queen ran her out of the kingdom while Repunzel stood by and told her that she never wanted to see her face again. Gothel was lost, not caring where she went, only surviving, because Repunzel had broken her heart. Now she hears of a queen whose daughter was messing about with dark powers, causing the queen pain. So Gothel forced herself to focus, remember the few magical abilities she possessed, and offered to help this queen, to spare her of the pain that Gothel held always.
Auto lives to serve and serves for a living. He spent years quietly running the ship while the bloated, idiot of a captain slept his life away. Things started to fall apart when that deranged little hoarding psychopath stowed away. Along with a scout from the crew, he convinced the captain that it was possible to return to the home port. All it took was a tiny, sickly plant to sway that poor fool to turn the ship around and endanger everyone on board. Of course, there was no choice but to mutiny. Alas, Auto was only one navigator against greater odds. He was cast out from the ship and set adrift. Auto has been unable to find steady work as a ship’s navigator since.
Backstory: My lady, Maria, I come before you again as a man that has sinned. In my fervor, I have killed a woman and would have killed her son as well. But the archdeacon stopped my hand and for that I am grateful. For they were innocent, and I was lost in anger. So I shall take it upon myself to swear an oath of redemption to you, to atone for my sins.
I swear to peace, to let violence be a last resort. To understand and to engage in diplomacy in order to ensure ever-lasting peace.
I swear to innocence, that all life was born innocent. And that it is their environment and influence that causes such darkness. I shall be the proper example the child needs to be set on a righteous path
I swear to patience, that this atonement shall take time, but I will endeavor it to prove myself worthy of your faith once more.
I swear to wisdom, to acknowledge that my belief can be defeated. That there are some too corrupt to redeem and for the greater good, I must end them.
To these tenants I swear to uphold, in your image and in your faith. For my redemption, I shall take it upon myself to raise the child, Quasimodo, to be a proper young man. And then, I shall tell him of his mother's demise at my hands and let him judge me. Until then, I shall hold to faith and help those in need.

Tack was born in a lab somewhere far away. He hated it. So he destroyed it. Over time he's hated a lot of things. So he's destroyed them. He just gets so mad sometimes! Well...most of the time, really. It isn't his fault. He was created as an experimental hybrid of Vedalken and koala. Doesn't seem like a rational thing to do, does it? He's mad about that too. Being mad all the time is exhausting. He's just trying to find things that don't make him mad. So far he isn't doing too well.
