I am looking for one player to join my campaign called the Tales of Faerûn.
So far in this campaign we have been using the Lost Mine of Phandelver as a source for the locations and quests in the campaign. The player characters have travelled to Phandalin and successfully delivered a wagon of goods as requested by Gundren Rockseeker. They have then rescued Sildar from Cragmaw Hideout and have just rescued Gundren from Cragmaw Castle.
However, other source books will be used to add more possible encounters and quests to the campaign.
Those who are looking to join this campaign should have a background detailing their reason for being in Phandalin, and preferably they will be a wizard to balance out the current party. Though other classes are possible, and multiclassing will be available. You will also need to be at level 3. You can also play as any race from the official source books, UA is permitted but homebrew is not.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Born in Waterdeep, the city of splendors, Maerys (she/her/hers) was orphaned at a young age after her parents were killed in an unfortunate dray accident. She was taken in by Resdon Arturius, a local wizard and friend of the family. He quickly noticed Maerys' potential in the arcane arts and took her as his apprentice and assistance for his experiments on time-manipulation magic, a relatively unexplored field. Under his intense tutelage, she was forced to learn quickly, but also learned how to sneak around and lie proficiently whenever she had to get out of a tough situation.
Resdon became further obsessed with his time magic research, to the point of becoming unhinged and potentially dangerous. This soon caught the attention of Remallia Haventree of the Harpers, who soon approached Maerys for more information. Maerys became Remallia's spy within Resdon's laboratory. Once Maerys discovered secret records of Resdon's that stated he sought to change the very fabric of time and bring it under his control, Maerys notified the Harpers who, in a joint operation with the agents of the Open Lord of Waterdeep, cracked down on Arturius. The power-hungry wizard escaped with some of his research, eluding capture. Maerys was eager to pursue him and bring him to justice, but Remallia helped rein her in. However, impressed with the young woman's gumption, Maerys was offered a place in the Harpers.
Now, months after the Arturius incident, her former master still eludes the Harpers' spies, much to Maerys' dismay. But strange things are happening in the frontier town of Phandalin, and the upper echelon of Harpers need more eyes there. So, Remallia sent Maerys as a means of further proving her worth.
Went with chronurgy magic but I can change that if you do not approve.
Vorrick Humblebumble - rock gnome - wizard (divination) - hermit
Vorrick Humblebumble has invented a compass that can be used to tell view the Weave in such a way as to see the future. He believes that this is a force for good he can take out into the world to help make it a better place. He’s had a difficult time reading it up til now, but he thinks he’s been lead to Phandelvar by this compass now. He’s now walking around town, and to the casual observer appears to be staring at something in his hands, walking in circles.

The compass is just an RP device to explain his divination abilities, I thought it fit well with the tinkering gnome type in a fun way.
Paladin - warforged - orange
Great character idea, but you just missed the cut.
