I have now reached the maximum amount of players I am allowing to be in a party(7/7). Thank you everyone for your time and responses, I look forward to playing with you all.
To all of you who did not get a slot in the party - there may be circumstances such as character death, players leaving, etc. that may cause for a slot or slots to open, so keep your eyes open.
Sounds fun. Would love to hear more information and see if it lines up with my availability.
Wow! I'm suprised I already got a response.
Here's some information about the campaign, feel free to ask any questions you have afterwards; The campaign will start of in the icy kingdom of Kelgreviesk, a country ruled by the Skeld, a viking-like culture that worship the Norse pantheon to radical extremes, led by the king, or Sohnur, said to be the son of Jormungandr, the world serpent, and who is tasked with slaying all non-believers to prepare the world for the Joining, an prophesized event in which Asgard will merge with Midgard, and the Skeld and the gods will live together in harmony.
The party will begin as prisoners of war within a Skeld labor camp on the island of Flonii. Each one of you will have somehow have been fighting against the Skeld, we can discuss why/how when we start creating character backstories, maybe you were a soldier from the neighboring kingdom of Accola, maybe you are a Skeld and deffected, etc. Once you somehow escape from the labor camp the party will have to decide what to do, either going back to Accola via sneaking through hostile Skeld territory, or staying in Skeld to fight behind enemy lines.
All official classes save for artificer will be allowed, as will all races native to the material plane in official dnd rules.
Session wise, I would prefer to host sessions in the mornings on weekdays or weekends if that works for you. If you have specific times you would like to play, please tell me(include your time zone). You can also post as though we were doing a session on non-session days, as long as you realize your post may not be seen until the next official session times. If this works for you, I am so excited to play with you! We will be starting as soon as we have enough players and everyone has created their characters(which you may start doing if you wish, feel free to message me with any questions for your backstory).
Humans only or are we using fantasy races? If so, any restrictions on those?
There are relatively few restrictions on races, the race must be from the material plane in dnd official rules, and no flying purely aquatic races. In the two kingdoms(Sohnur and Accola) in the campaign, Dragonborn, Humans, Elves, and Dwarves are the most common, but you don't have to play as one.

Currently Rampagingdruid, it appears as though I do have room, if you would like to join. If you would like to message me(using the message function, not this thread) your availability to be actively posting and replying(session times) including your time zone, you are welcome too. I will also send you a brief overview of the campaign shortly! I look forward to playing with you!
I'd be interested in joining please if you have room available. The setting really intrigues me.

This looks like fun. Any book restrictions? I.E. PHB only or smth of the sort
Nope! No book restrictions, however there are a few specific restrictions: no home brew races, no artificers, the race must be from the material plane, and your race must not be able to fly(naturally) and don’t play as anything that can’t walk on land because…..well, just don’t.
alright so would a raptor-like race I made be ok? it's called a nirsune
I’m afraid you may only use official content for your race and class as I am not confident that I would be able to judge whether or not your home brew is balanced. Would lizardfolk or kobolds suit your needs?

I am interested in playing, but am currently in Europe (Central European Time). Would that be a problem?
Tamryn - lvl 4 Wood Elf Rogue - Circle of Light Campaign || Drusilla - lvl 1 Half-Elf Ranger - Sleeping Gods || Grrzark - lvl 1 Goblin Barbarian - Danger at Darkshelf Quarry || DM - LTG - Curse of Strahd
I'm in! are you ok with a Tiefling grim reaper with wings?
I'm down (EST).
PST for moi
"your race must not be able to fly(naturally" I don't think that would work unless le wings were for flavor.

Lizard folk ranger? would that be ok?
Yeah that could work. Are you still going to work the champion of death thing or are you going with a new/different idea?
