I am looking for thoughtful and honest feedback on my ranger build. I know right now its only 1st level so here is a little more context. Any advice on what to take in the future would be appreciated as well.

I plan on going the archery fighting style and also drakenwarden archetype.
Seems like an interesting character, but you might want to think about making him a bit more stealthy. The scale mail will probably bring more enemies to you then protect you, especially with you high dex making stealth a really good option. The rest of it seems a good fit.
Things to consider: 1. Are you playing with the optional encumberance rules. If so then a 12 strength is a good idea. If not dropping it to 10 and upping your dex, con, or wis one more point will be better long term. Dex (gets you closer to 20, and enables a half feat like piercer), con (now its odd and is prepped for resilient con), wis (now its odd and prepped for something like fey touched). 2. I see you already selected sharpshooter. Are you playing in a campaign where you get a free level 1 feat. If so, then that sounds like fun. Personally I wouldn't go with sharpshooter early. You really need archery style (level 2) and increases to your dex/prof bonus to make it useful. Its a bit too miss and not enough hit at level 1. I would select a number of others with a free first instead. In particular for a dragonborn character either dragon feat (dragon fear, dragon hide), and any of the three from Fizban's. And of course fey touched is great since you could start play with Hunter's Mark and Misty Step (although I prefer bless over hunter's mark for a fey touched spell). 3. It looks like you didn't take draconic (probably because you are going to get it when you take your subclass. The subclass is written "Tongue of Dragons. You learn to speak, read, and write Draconic or one other language of your choice." so you could just take goblin then. BUT... I like the idea of a dragonborn raised by goblins or near them that doesn't know its own language and is further getting in touch with its identity. Its a good way to add easy back story. 4. I prefer the Tasha's options of favored foe/deft explorer to favored enemy/natural explorer, but there are plenty of people who like the original options. 5. In general I like your skills. I usually like stealth over nature but either is a good choice. At 5th you can supplement with pass without trace if you really want to sneak somewhere.
