The ranger's beastmaster primal companion doesn't show up in the extra creatures tab and the only thing you see in actions or character features is its health it doesn't show attack dice or even it's stat block. Is that intentional or a bug? I was asking since the artificer's homunculus servant shows up there so why doesn't the ranger's beast companion not show up there?

Yes, it was done that way on purpose. It's the same as the drake companion for the Drakewarden. I can't remember the exact reason, something about the way the creature's stats & abilities worked made it harder to code in as a separate creature instead of a class feature. I can't remember the details though. If you dig out the initial thread for reporting issues when Tasha's was released, you might be able to find something.

The artificer's homunculus servant doesn't show up, so far as I know. DDB has never implemented companions that scale with your PB and SAM, such as Artificer Homunculi or Primal Companions. As the number of such companions proliferate, it's becoming more and more of an issue that the site simply doesn't support it.
you can see the stat block on the sidebar if you click the primal companion feature.
OR you could make a homebrew creature (I usally give it the pets name and you must add a familiar or companion tag near the end ) but you would need to modify it for each PB increase. In order to do that you must have optional features and homebrew turned on in the home page{for character editing}. (you will probably want the class page set to a specific companion at 3rd level as well.) then you should be able to go to extras and add it to the extras section Under a the tag you specified.

Would be nice to see some battle info for ranger companions on the sheet, hope its something they are working on.
