I am a wood elf ranger who has proficiency in longbow so I equip the normal long bow or the +1 long bow?
Being proficient with a weapon just means that you add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll when you attack with that weapon. A +1 Longbow is a magic item, not a placeholder for "a longbow that I'm proficient with". Your D&D Beyond character sheet will automatically add your proficiency bonus to attacks using a weapon you're proficient with. If you took a Longbow as part of your starting equipment, it will show in your inventory. Just click the box next to it and it will show in your list of attacks.

I will add as a ranger: having a variety of weapons is nice even when you focus on just one weapon.
If you take elven accuracy(feat) and archery fighting style you will rarely miss attacks.
