So I've been a bit confused and mulling this over in my brain. The Interpretation for Favored Foe is a little weird and confusing. It's states it works with Foe killer, but I don't see this working well outside of a boss fight situation as foe killer is limited by favored foe(if i take this a singular target). Now what confuses me is the description that "your bond with nature causes you to mark the target as the 'Favored Enemy'..." paraphrasing. Now Favored Enemy is the original feature that marks a type of creature. And again "when you hit the favored enemy" and "you can use this feature to mark a favored enemy". My question is this. As you are marking a favored enemy. Would that mean that once you hit said creature you make its type your Favored Enemy so all hits of that creature type gain the additional damage for the duration of the concentration or until your concentration is broken. As it doesn't specifiy if the target dies. So my confusing bit is... is it "singular" referring to that single creature or is it referring to the creature type when it states "Favored Enemy."???
Favoured Foe is for a single target, it's basically just hunter's mark but with a few key differences:
It doesn't require a bonus action to cast, you can wait to trigger it until you hit a target.
It only deals damage once on your turn, it doesn't add to every single attack.
Because it triggers after hitting you can potentially start it after something else ends (e.g- lightning arrow).
It doesn't use your spell slots (this is the main benefit IMO, saves one limited resource by giving you another).
The main benefit compared to Favored Enemy is that it works on any (single) enemy, you don't need to worry about choosing an enemy type you then never see again, though with a good DM you shouldn't encounter that problem (you should discuss with them what type you're picking and why, and they can work with you to make sure it doesn't get wasted).

How would you enterpret it???
