Hello 

My DM has decided to allow Gloom Stalker and gave  me the option  to switch over from hunter.  

ATM I am 9th level with Crossbow Expert , sharpshooter feats  and 18 dex

Do those feats work with  Dread Ambusher and hand crossbow on a target with Hunter's mark ?

assuming everything hits  that will be 3 attacks each doing 2d6+14  then  1d8+1d6+14 from Dread Ambusher

Is that right?

for the very first round of combat. You can set up the hunters Mark with your bonus action.

and have the 3 attacks with sharpshooter and crossbow expert.

so. Crossbow shot x3

hunters mark x3

sharpshooter x3

normal mod x3

and dread ambusher d8.

assuming all hit.

3d6+3d6+d8+12+30

I think the attack from dread ambusher will also benefit from hunter’s mark, in which case you will get 1d6 more.

yes it does stack.  Its what I use on my gloomstalker but I took 4 levels of rogues scout for all those extra skills and expertise. Not to mention hiding and advantage on attacks. Plus see if dm will.allowe class variants and use hunters make number of times with wisdom bonus without concentration
