I'm thinking of expanding my Beast Master Ranger into a War Cleric. I'm trying to play an equally balanced Dmg/Support Character. I'm thinking a good start split is Ranger 5. What I would like help with is; If or when I should stop Cleric levels. Our current party is just a tad lacking in support Skills, but we are still only level 3 with a Monk, a Wizard, and a Paladin, and me as the Ranger. For my definition of Support, I'm mainly look at either Dmg boosting or healing pickups, or other possible choices that people can recommend. Thanks for the help.
Druid is a good idea, and help support the nature side. Going Shepard means you have a few good option to help out. Dreams gives you healing. But if you are sold on war domain, then I would say to take 7 levels at least, maybe to 10 if you want divine intervention.

Excellent recommendation, but the only problem I see is I went with an Archer Style so I would have to reconfigure my entire playstyle. But again, thank you for the help. I'll definitely look into riding out to at least Level 7.
Not really. You summon the totem, then you command beast to attack (level 5 extra attack) then attack with a bow yourself. The beast can also take the help action, so placing down a totem then having the beast help means allies are buffed and well supported. I would ask why you chose war domain, and how that would work. I personally think that nature domain is cool, and fits thematically. Also, twilight domain (UA) is very good. It gets you faerie fire, free advantage is free support, and also some healing spells. Also, a bonus to initiative and some darkvision is very good. Hope this helped!
