I am looking for a little clarity. I have an Arcane Trickster Rogue who is level 5. I have 3 cantrips and 4 level 1 spells.
I understand when I reached level 3 and chose AT I had 3 spells 3 of which had to be from the Illusion or Enchantment school.
Now I am level 5 I have 4 spells. The bit I’m confused with is the 4th spell gain, what school does it need to be. I have a spell from the enchantment and illusion school anyway. Can it be from any?
I don't think it says 3 of which had to be from illusion and enchantment... it is only 2, the 3rd spell can be from any school of magic.
Any new spells you add also have to be from the illusion or enchantment school of magic unless it states they are special and can be from any school. (I think 8th level is one such example.)
Ah yes you are right. Thank you.
