I need a little advice and help. In my current campaign, I am playing a L5 arcane trickster. Now I love the character and I’ve looked at future rogue and arcane trickster levels and believe that my best option for character development is to multi class.
The class options I have looked at are:
Bladesinger Wizard - the perks are great and an increase in AC can’t be bad, plus more spells.
Champion Fighter - increase in damage with weapon from class feature, extra attack and improved critical (which with sneak attack and Booming blade is amazing).
Which would you guys go for or are there any other classes that you think might be a better option?
I wouldn't bother with Fighter personally; while you can get some good abilities, I think Wizard just combines better as it gives you access to so much more casting options. I don't agree with quindraco that Champion is the worst sub-class though, it has a lot of great features, it's just a bit boring IMO (doesn't give you more choices, just enhances what you can already do).
I have an Arcane Trickster/Wizard multi-class, but in my case I settled on War Magic for the Arcane Deflection (Shield-lite) free reaction, and Initiative boost. This suits my character well as they are all about staying hidden rather than fighting one-on-one, but Bladesinging may suit you better if you see your Trickster spending more time out of cover.
Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.

Thanks for your time everyone.
Champion is the worst fighter subclass there is, and bladesinger is easily is in the top three wizard subclasses. No-brainer here: Bladesinger.
