Don't forget either booming or green-flame blade for one of your cantrips if you have access to SCAG. For level 1 spells, it's hard to beat find familiar as your general spell. For the illusion/enchantment spells, it depends greatly on your int and the sort of game you play.
If you have a decent save DC, hideous laughter or charm person would be good picks, laughter for combat heavy games, charm for games more about the plot. (remember that they will realize they were charmed)
If your int isn't up to snuff, sleep and color spray aren't great but still work for combat, disguise self and silent image can be effective for utility.

I was thinking of playing a arcane trickster, what spells should I use at 3rd level.
Find familiar is very good, Tasha's hideous laughter is also a good idea. For cantrips, prestidigitation and mage hand are a good idea.
