So I had an Idea for a rouge subclass that was artificer themed. The base idea for the theme is that this would the the super spy rouge. As a starting point to what I really wanted to explore is a class that can only cast cantrips as actions but can also cast any wizard ritual outside of combat (as in no spell slots) while still being a class that might actually want to cast a cantrip as an action in combat. The thought experiment left me feeling like this subclass if made would be like a D&D super spy.
As part of the subclass you get the mending, prestidigitation, light, true strike, and blade ward cantrips.
You also get ritual casting get access to all level 1 ritual spells.
You would also get a chose a "magical gadget", The idea here is you would choose either "steel servant" or "eldritch flamethrower". This gadget should be able to disguise it form as part of your armor, weapon, or a mundane object. Sort of touching on a bit of rune smith meets high harper meets educated in arcane but not gifted in wielding the arcane.
The steel servant option you get a battle pet with the same statistics as a homunculus servant but with force rend as and attack and the deflect attack reaction.
The eldritch flamethrower is and eldritch cannon that is tiny only and is attached to you armor or weapon and shoots fire in a 15ft cone or a 30ft line.
Finally I think this subclass should have a few mage breaker/magic resist features.
I haven't really worked out the nitty gritty of how the subclass would scale as you level up other than to say by 17th level the subclass should have every wizard ritual in the game up to 5th spell level. The only other thought I had about the scaling of this class is that you maybe should be able to add sneak attack to one target hit by your magical gadget after character level 5. Increase the attunement slots at character level 11 maybe. Integrate thieves tools into magical gadget at level 7 maybe.
Please let me know what you think of the idea, and thank you to everyone who reads this.
EDIT: except the find familiar spell, that is the only ritual I would hold off this subclass. For what i consider to be obvious reasons. I'm going for a lesser caster/lesser artificer feel that could maybe play into the Witcher theme of less broad and powerful magic but simple magic that is broadly useful. Maybe rune smith meets high harper / educated in the arcane but not gifted in its manipulation.

Why not have a familiar? You have added so much already. Talk about abut being completely overpowering. Edit (not here) all of the stuff you get with your class and write each individual gift/ability/feature/etc. out line by line. Then open up the 2024 PHB and look at any other subclass. See what they give, and compare it size/amount to yours.
I think the concept is fine, descriptions of add things is fine as well. However, the big picture execution needs a lot of editing. You have included way too much in total.
EDIT: Make this a subclass that kicks in at a higher level and replaces existing subclass, so it replaces high level features for an assassin or thief etc.
Fair point, I didn't want to it end up feeling to much like a worse version of an arcane trickster. But it was mostly a kind of brain storm idea. A lot of the stuff could also be moved around to come online at different levels as well. In truth an arcane trickster can do most of the base ideas of the subclass, which is why i felt like it needed something else on top. Then ultimately landed on a kind of spy ritual caster artificer rouge feel and plus it added something extra to do with a bonus action.
Perhaps the rituals could cap out at level 3 and axe the idea of any mage braker features?
