Playing a level 3 AcraneTrickster that has had a few near death experiences and has now become somewhat devoted to worshipping a goddess of luck. Thinking of taking Divine Sorceror and Wizard of Diviniation... How viable will it be/how bad will I be behind if I take it? Thinking of taking sorceror at level 4 then the lucky feat and follow it up with two levels of Wizard. Do you guys have any tips to improve on the idea or recommendations of spells or how to make the idea better? I liked the idea of guidance as one of the cantrips and maybe bless as a spell...
Three way multi-classing is usually seen as bad since you're already delaying your core features. I suggest you pick Wizard since you're already using INT as casting.
I feel like wizard is very redundant with arcane trickster while sorcerer doesn't synergize. If you're asking for optimization, it's not a good plan. RP wise it sounds great but you'll fall behind pretty hard for a long time multiclassing one of those. Multiclassing both would be pretty terrible. You'd be fairly high level and still only have level one or two spell slots and not a ton a sneak attack dice.
Generally I think arcane tricksters are best as a solo class but can be good with another martial classv like fighter.
