I've just been going through the feats on D&DB (Yay slow work day) and have just come across the Charger feat.
I don't recall the part about the +5 damage, is that part of any errata?
When you use your action to Dash, you can use a bonus action to make one melee weapon attack or to shove a creature.
If you move at least 10 feet in a straight line immediately before taking this bonus action, you either gain a +5 bonus to the attack's damage roll (if you chose to make a melee attack and hit) or push the target up to 10 feet away from you (if you chose to shove and you succeed).
Does this now make it a viable option for a Swash rogue that dips in and out of attack range for hostiles?
Looking at an old PDF I have it looks like it has been in there from before D&DBeyond. The reason it's not taken often is probably because you need to use your to Action dash and as a rogue you can use your bonus action to dash and your action to attack. Meaning it's a feat that does what you can already do, but slightly better. Yes you can take it, it will work exactly as you intend. I would take it.
