Regarding my Critical Role fanfic, I've been contemplating multiclassing my melee arcane trickster with bladesinger, since it provides far more benefit than the Ritual Caster feat I originally intended. I considered doing just two levels (and keeping Elusive), but the lure of more unrestricted spells is great, especially when factoring in arcane recovery. If I do five levels, I get the rogue's WIS save proficiency. If I do six, I get the bladesinger's second attack.
There's also the question of when it happens. Chronologically, SCAG didn't come out until Vox Machina finished their Slayer's Take trials; and I figured Obtena might start Wizarding after Tiberius' departure to make up for the group's magical deficit. From what I've read, people usually multiclass AT and BS in the first few levels. Perhaps the save proficiency or second attack will come so late, it won't even matter?
I've only written pre-stream so far. At least Obtena has Magical Ambush when they arrive at Kraghammer...

Either one comes so late. And you can always instead of waiting for 15 from rogue for that. Take resilient wis as a feat and +1 to wis.
