Im playing as Hexblade warlock and I'm not sure if im missing something. on the equipment part, i've made my main weapon my pact/hex weapon and the modifier being used is charisma (which is correct). However for the bonus attack, or the reaction attack, its using the str modifier use to calculate damage. Am I suppose to manually update this, or am I just missing something? Im still new to dnd so im not sure x.x
I don't know what character sheet you're using, but you can use your charisma modifier for your hexblade weapon's attack and damage modifiers in all contexts in which you're entitled to a modifier. This includes attacks of opportunity, which I'm guessing is what you mean by reaction attack. I have no idea what bonus attack means, but I can think of at least two possibilities:
If you're talking about two-weapon fighting, then without a special rule to the contrary (like Fighters get from the Two-Weapon Fighting fighting style), you don't get a damage modifier to the attack you make as a bonus action.
If you're talking about some other ability you're using to generate a bonus action attack, such as Crossbow Expert or Polearm Master, then in general you will get a damage modifier (unless you're told you don't), and hence you will be able to use your charisma for said modifier.
In both cases, you'd still get to use your charisma modifier for the attack roll, if you wanted.
In the case of bonus action or reaction attacks granted by feats/features, those are unable to check the weapon for special tags (like hex weapon or magic damage bonus).
Two weapon fighting style should work properly though.
