With the shield master feat can i use the shove action as an opportunity attack when an enemy leave my 5ft. reach? This could be handy if i don't have other melee weapons...
I was thinking on a shield master+crossbow expert combo, in which i use the hand crossbow for bonus attacks and the shield for melee opportunity attacks...
No, the shove you're talking about is a bonus action.
Your hand crossbow idea won't work without an artificer to make you a repeating shot hand crossbow - otherwise, you can't reload the crossbow with your shield arm.
I understand i can't shove with the bonus action if i already used my bonus action, but why can't i shove as a reaction?
Actually, when i think about it, even without the shield master feat shouldn't it be possible? After all you don't need a free hand the shove, and shoving is a melee attack, isn't it?
Mostly it's not allowed for gameplay balance reasons. If you can just shove someone prone as an AOO it would be too powerful, since it's a quick way to burn 50% of their movement.
Functionally, shoving is allowed to replace one of the Weapon Attacks from the Attack Action, but that does not mean that all instances of a Weapon Attack can be replaced with the Shove Action. An AOO is a unique Melee Weapon Attack, and only a Melee Weapon Attack unless you have another feature that allows you to replace that Melee Weapon Attack with a different action (such as Warcaster, which allows it to be replaced with some spells).

The crossbow expert feat says you ignore the loading, so you can use it with one hand.

Loading is not being able to fire it multiple times. Ammunition is needing to reload it. You don't ignore Ammunition with the CBE feat.

Because Shield Master says you can shove as a bonus action, and you asked about the shield master feat.

So that makes the hand crossbow practically two handed, if you can't use it with one hand only.

Practically, yes. Mechanically, no.
Because mechanically it is 1 handed, you can fire it with both your action and bonus action with CBE. And if you do get repeating shot, it does become truly 1 handed.

You cannot shove a creature with an opportunity attack as you must take the Attack Action to do so.
You also only have 1 bonus action on your turn so if you have both feats you won't be able to use both bonus action on your turn.

The problem with OA shoving is that shoving is only legal during your Attack action, and you can only take that during your turn: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/combat#ShovingaCreature
Contrast with the DMG rule for disarming someone, which can replace any attack without action constraints.
Thanks, that settles it...

It's more like the 1+ that Bows have. Takes 1 hand to draw, stow, aim or fire but you need to use the other hand to reload it.
