Hi folks, I am sorry if this question appeared before, but does the feature of the Scouts´s "Ambush Master" apply after a hit is made or already to the first attack?
It depends on whether the Scout has multiple attacks. Also, the target may provoke an attack of opportunity.
Yeah you're right. If the Rogue Scout was dual wielding or the target ran away. I guess in my head I was picturing a ranged attack since its a rogue ability and probably a sneaky first shot. I mean, giving everyone advantage on the target is pretty cool for sure. it would certainly be great for taking out solo sentries without them being able to raise an alarm.

I assume you are talking about the Scout.
The advantage on the attack rolls is valid after a creature is hit by the Scout.
Yes of course, thanks
It's just worded weird because it says it makes it easier for YOU and your allies, but the advantage goes away before you get another attack.

If you multiclas 5 lvls of gloomstalker then with range on 1st attack you'd get 3 attacks.
