Question: combining "alchemical savant" (alchemist Artificer) and "potent cantrip" (evocation wizard), when they succeed on the save.
(Casting acid splash)Is the damage calculation: (3d6+mod)÷2 or (3d6÷2)+mod?
Or is it just 3d6÷2 and no mod because how potent cantrip is written.
(3d6+mod)/2. The cantrip does "Half the cantrip's damage", and both its spell dice and your spell modifier are the cantrip's damage.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.
