sup folks. have some questoin I will playing as a cleric in curse of strahd . and heard some DM's ban this spell on this campaign my DM says that might not work on everything.
without spoiling anything can you guys tell me some way to manage this spell to use it ? or what you recomend did you guys allow on your games?
As a cleric you can prepare the spell as and when you need it. As far as what it will do, that is up to the DM and whether he uses house rules or not.
As a cleric, you should probably know what it is supposed to do. If the DM wants to house rule that it works differently in Barovia then you can either role play it out or (probably better), the DM can let you know what changes he has made to the rules in session 0 so that you don't waste your time with it.
As for me, I allowed it in my games - there is probably one place/circumstance where it might be useful in CoS and I would let it be used in that case too ... so I would check with the specific DM involved and see if they plan to change the rules. However, since you can prep it at any time and change your spells out daily, it really doesn't matter, if it doesn't work you just prepare something else.
I don't think it's a good idea to try to prepare for a specific campaign, or to know anything about it, before you start playing in it. You are not trying to 'beat' the game, or the DM, and ultimately nothing that anybody says here may be relevant to the way your DM runs the game.

Maybe you miss understand me , is not to prepare for the campaign is to get a common ground between remove curse and the DM in the campaign . And opinons of DMs that runned the adventures and tips on how to allow it . Without spoiling me.

There's a number between zero and a hundred, of times when you could get a benefit from this spell during the adventure, assuming your DM makes no changes, which is a strange assumption that I wouldn't make in real life, but it's the best I can do here. I've run it, I own the book, and I'm not going to disclose the number. I'll say this: The writers knew about the spell when they made the adventure. Your DM, presumably, knew about the spell while preparing to run the adventure. It's a spell from the core rulebooks and it's not new to this edition.
