Have a bunch of questions regarding the Creation spell. For duration it says: "The Duration depends on the object's material. If the object is composed of multiple materials, use the shortest Duration.
2) What are the precious metals? Surely platinum, gold and silver are on this list, but what about copper and the like?
3) What if I want to make something out of a non-precious metal, like tin, iron, lead, etc.? It says precious metals last for an hour but doesn't comment on the nonprecious metals, are they more under the stone/crystal category, lasting for 12 hours, or can they simply not be made with the spell?
4) If we encounter glowing crystals, magic crystals, etc. along the adventure, can this spell make a pile of them for 12 hours? By RAW it seems that way, just want to double check
5) Can this be used to temporarily make effective potions or the like? Don't think there are RAW potion ingredients, but if a potion is made of plant matter could I create 5x5x5ft pool of effective healing potion?
6) If I want to make something like ore, or ferrite crystals or the like, would that fall under the stone/crystal category for 12 hour duration?
7) What is the purpose of this spell? Most spells I can find a creative use for but this one seems almost exclusively for tricking merchants/ dragons/ nobles and the creative uses I can think of probably won't fly at many tables or could be more effectively done for a lower spell slot.

Material - Duration:
Vegetable matter - 1 day
Stone/crystal - 12 hours
Precious metals - 1 hour
Gems - 10 minutes
Adamantine/Mithral - 1 minute"
