I'm wondering if Aura of Hates bonus (CHA modifier added to melee attack damage) also applies to the bonus attacks granted by the Polearm Master feat. It isn't being applied by D&D Beyond, though I think, reading how both things function, that it should be added. Can anyone please clarify this for me?
Also, does Duelist (+2 damage bonus) apply to the same bonus attack. That also doesn't seem to be being added.
The build is an Oathbreaker with a quarterstaff and shield.
It should apply. It is a technical issue. The way DDB makes that feat work is for it to create a custom action regardless of equipment or other features. Otherwise the coding would be dozens of times more complicated, but they might fix it in the distant future.
You can make any needed adjustments to the action. Dualist would also apply if the quarterstaff is wielded 1 handed (kind of against the spirit of the feat, but RAW).
Warlocks can achieve similar with the Lifedrinker invocation. A hexblade can even use their Charisma for attack and damage rolls so they only need to get one stat to 20. Also Barbarians with Rage get similar static bonuses to damage with only Strength at 20.
And yes, Polearm Master is a really strong feat. It's arguably stronger than Great Weapon Master and there are weapons that can benefit from both at the same time.
If quarterstaff is bothering you then you can go with a spear. The only difference between the two is bludgeoning vs. piercing damage and the spear can be thrown.
Hello! First time poster here

Thanks!
Edit: to clarify attack 'damage' and not 'to-hit'

That seems really powerful! A potential for 4 attacks a turn, adding around 11+ modifier damage to each not including actual damage rolls and smites
Thanks for your reply!

If only quarterstaves with a shield wasn't an odd choice and aesthetic for an oathbreaker haha

Good point! Thanks
4 attacks? You counting opportunity attacks?
Attack, extra attack, bonus action attack from PAM, and opportunity attack from PAM. Yep, counting OA as well.
