Your pardons gentle beings if this has been asked before -
Can my halfling ranger set a mummy on fire with a torch? or is he going to keep on keeping on with dealing 2hp per round and hoping for the best?
From a rules standpoint, you'd need oil [edit](actually oil doesnt set fire weirdly enough, but it does increase the damage)[/edit] or alchemist's fire to set it on fire for constant damage (there are also some spells and class features too).
