I know that the DM can let you do nearly anything at their discretion, but I was wondering if there's any precedent RAW for being able to distract enemies in combat?
For example, my character has a Horn of Silent Alarm. I was thinking it might be useful to target the enemy with that and use it to throw them off with the loud noise.
You can distract a creature in combat using the Help action. This cause advantage on the first ally's attack roll. Distraction could cause others effect to targets with DM's approval, such as imposing disadvantage to the next ability check or saving throw it makes, break concentration etc...
