There's no such thing as a returned. Assuming you mean a reborn, you don't get to keep "your old racial abilities". This is exactly what you keep:
You keep your old languages instead of picking up the Reborn languages of Common + 1. Owlin languages are Common + 1, so no change.
You keep your old skill proficiencies (Owlin is 1, which is Stealth if your DM isn't using the Tasha's rules letting you pick anything you want) and swim, climb, or fly speeds (which for Owlin is Fly Speed = Walking Speed).
All other racial abilities from your old race are lost - e.g. as a Reborn Owlin you won't have the Owlin 120 foot darkvision.
As to your question about the DDB interface, I don't know, this is the rules forum. I can certainly tell you that switching from Owlin to Reborn won't make you a Reborn Owlin, it'll make you a Reborn. Whatever you need to do, you need to do it from the Reborn interface.
