How do you give commands to your Wildfire Spirit, the text only says you give it commands. Do these have to be verbal? Are they mental? Why do I ask? Well, if I wildshape into an animal, I cant give verbal commands I assume, so the two features wound not combine well then.
It also does not say anything about what range the command works at, so as long as I can see a place I should be able to control the spirit in that area, unless it is verbal command requirement. (telepatic bond might solve that however.)
Can a wild shaped druid command summons from spells? They seem to ask for a verbal command while the wildfire spirit seem to be unspecified. I might have missed some detail however.
They do not have to be Verbal commands, but WildFire Druid is not given any telepathic or special non-verbal communication methods. You would have to obtain that in some other method. You are correct that it is not an freebie. Rary's Telepathic Bond is great for this.
If you are wildshaped and have Rary's Telepathic Bond cast on you and your Spirit by a friendly Mage, then yoou could give commands.

You only have telepathy if it says so, so the commands have to be verbal or some other means you can convince the DM to allow.
If you wildshape the Wildfire Spirit goes away.
I don't think this is actually true.
You are allowed to retain concentration in wildshape to any active spell requiring it, so no reason the spirit would simply go away.
The spirit doesn't require concentration though so that's not really a relevant point.
But I agree in general, the wildfire spirit is not in any way affected by the Druid wildshaping.
