So I have a sorcerer in my game who i think will end up with one of the dragon masks. In the item description it reads that wearing a mask allows you to add your charisma modifier to your ac if you ar not wearing armor. What I'm wondering is does this mean in addition to my dex modifier? cause that would be cool but maybe too strong.
To give an idea of my character I have 16 dex already and I'm a draconic bloodline sorcerer so my ac is 13+3 and I'm wearing bracers of protection so my total ac is 18, so if I add my current charisma modifier to that my ac would be 22, as opposed to if it replaced using my dex. I mostly just want make sure I'm reading this correctly and not gonna be using the item wrong.

The bonus would stack. It is not giving you a new way to calculate AC, but rather a bonus similar to your bracers, just a stronger bonus.
Thank you
