As in 2024 rules, looking via your familiar’s eyes is a bonus action. Does that mean that you cannot misty step using familiar’s view anymore as it is also a bonus action? But now you should for example Thunderstep?
An archfey warlock who picks up find familiar in any method (pact of the chain, pact of the tome, magic initiate, etc) gets the ability to cast misty step as a reaction when taking damage, so there is possibly an edge case method of doing it but I'd say as rules are now, it's not possible for anything else.

You're a genius.
I have actually thought the edge case out more now, if a druid (likely in your party) casts spike growth, you can run into it on your turn and use the reaction since you have "taken damage."
Now why somebody would want to do that, I don't know but it's a edge case that technically works but technically any lingering AoE that hits allies and enemies on their turn works. Spike Growth just gives one potential use of fleeing to the other side since it's difficult terrain.

Yes, that's how it works now.
With the 2014 version, it required your action, but now it's a Bonus Action, so some interactions that worked before might not work the same way now.
But now I'm curious. Would the DMs around here allow see through the familiar’s eyes and cast Misty Step at the same time outside of combat?
RAW, it's a "no" and RAF it's a "maybe"?
Typically 1 BA/Turn but outside combat i may depend what is the impact if i say ""Yes, but..." :)
That's a fair (EDIT: and amazing) answer, Plague! :D
