I have questions regarding mage hand and the arcane trickster.
Mage Hand
A spectral, floating hand appears at a point you choose within range. The hand lasts for the duration or until you dismiss it as an action. The hand vanishes if it is ever more than 30 feet away from you or if you cast this spell again.
You can use your action to control the hand. You can use the hand to manipulate an object, open an unlocked door or container, stow or retrieve an item from an open container, or pour the contents out of a vial. You can move the hand up to 30 feet each time you use it.
The hand can't attack, activate magic items, or carry more than 10 pounds.
Starting at 3rd level, when you cast mage hand, you can make the spectral hand invisible, and you can perform the following additional tasks with it:
You can stow one object the hand is holding in a container worn or carried by another creature.
You can retrieve an object in a container worn or carried by another creature.
You can use thieves’ tools to pick locks and disarm traps at range.
You can perform one of these tasks without being noticed by a creature if you succeed on a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check contested by the creature’s Wisdom (Perception) check.
In addition, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to control the hand.

Does this mean that an Arcane Trickster can use the Mage Hand twice in one turn? (Once as an action, a second time as a bonus action)
Yes. If the action economy works, such as using an action and bonus action, you may cast/utilize a cantrip twice in one turn. It takes your full action to summon the hand, but you can control it twice per turn, using both your action and your bonus action.
Yes, Mage Hand Legerdemain expands what you can do with Mage Hand. Getting to control the hand as a bonus action is on top of controlling the hand as an action, not instead of. Also note that Mage Hand still takes an action to cast.
Similarly, Cunning Action in general lets you use the Dash action twice in one turn.
The duration is a sticking point for me. Does “until you dismiss” override the one minute?
I’ve heard of adventurers using it to carry a torch. Would they need to recast every minute?
I have an Arcane Trickster with the telekinetic feat. Does that make any difference?
Yes, you would need to recast the spell once a minute. The way Telekinetic works with this is mostly the fact that you do not need to provide Vocal or Somatic components for Mage Hand... which are the only components it has. So with a normal spell caster, at least once a minute they've gotta wiggle their fingers and audibly say "Hocus Pocus" or whatever you imagine for the verbal component of a spell, which can screw you up if you're trying to sneak in somewhere. But with the Telekinetic feat, although you still need to use an action every minute to continue holding the torch, there's no apparent indication to anyone around you that you're doing it, especially since you can make the mage hand itself completely invisible. It probably won't come up too often, but it's something to keep in mind.

My only good homebrews: Races, Subclasses.
An aspiring DM and Homebrewer. Ask me if you need anything.

Yes usually its a if one happens or the other. So in this case if you dismiss it OR if a minute happens. Whatever comes first.
