You can make an opportunity attack when a hostile creature that you can see moves out of your reach. [...] You also don't provoke an opportunity attack when you teleport or when someone or something moves you without using your movement, action, or reaction.
When using Blink, you do not use your movement and functions as a teleportation, so it does not provoke opportunity attacks.
If they have Mage Slayer, you are adjacent to them, and cast Blink, they get a hit on you, not because you are moving, but because you cast a spell.

Ancient GM, started in '76, have played almost everything at some point or another.
I run/play Mercer-style games, heavy on the RP and interaction, light on the combat-monster and rule-lawyering. The goal is to tell an epic story with the players and the players are as involved in the world building as the GM is. I run and play a very Brechtian style, am huge into RP theory and love discussing improv and offers.

If a creature casts Blink while adjacent to an enemy, do they trigger an attack of opportunity?
I did a search and checked the first 5 pages of this forum, but didn't find anything related so I apologize if this is a repeat thread.
According to the PHB:
When using Blink, you do not use your movement and functions as a teleportation, so it does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Awesome, Thank you!
