How do you handle the weight of magic armor and weapons?

I am curious how others handle the weight of magical armor and weapons. The only true rule references I could find are from 1e and 2e. I find nothing about those specific mechanics in later versions.

Thoughts?

Weight for an item is the same wether mundane or magical, unless noted otherwise.
