So last night in a game I was running a PCs level 7 HalfOrc Profane Soul BloodHunter landed a critical hit with Greenflame Blade while Crimson Rite was activated on her mace and Hex was on the target (both of these were done on previous turns) so, according to my calculations, the roll was:
3d6 bludgeoning from a mace(its 3 because an extra damage die is added for HalfOrc Savage Attack) + 2d6 crimson rite + 2d6 hex + 2d8 greenflame.
THEN another weapon attack with a bonus action because of Mystic Frenzy.
Is that right? Because that seems like an INSANE amount of damage for one turn. I don’t mind really, it made the person playing the character super jazzed, I just want to make sure I’m doing it right.
Assuming you calculated correctly, yes, that is correct. A critical hit doubles the amount of dice rolled with the exception of poison applied to a weapon (usually).
