"Lunging Attack: As a Bonus Action, you can expend one Superiority Die and take the Dash action. If you move at least 5 feet in a straight line immediately before hitting with a melee attack as part of the Attack action on this turn, you can add the Superiority Die to the attack’s damage roll."
I have only been playing since September and I am still trying to learn how everything works, so thanks in advance for any help and input.
My question about Lunging Attack, is... Can I stack the 1d6 Force Damage from Hunter's Mark (If I have cast that spell before using Lunging Attack) with the extra 1d8 damage from that attack? Potentially, I would get my regular damage + 1d8 from Lunging Attack and 1d6 from Hunter's Mark. Does it matter that Lunging Attack is a Bonus Action? Also, could the 1d6 Hunter's Mark damage stack with the extra damage from other Battle Master Maneuvers, like Trip Attack, Menacing Attack, Riposte, etc.?
You magically mark one creature you can see within range as your quarry. Until the spell ends, you deal an extra 1d6 Force damage to the target whenever you hit it with an attack roll. You also have Advantage on any Wisdom (Perception or Survival) check you make to find it.
If the target drops to 0 Hit Points before this spell ends, you can take a Bonus Action to move the mark to a new creature you can see within range.

Yes, the extra damage from Hunter's Mark stacks with the extra damage from Lunging Attack. There's nothing in the rules to say it doesn't — generally, if there were a limitation on something like that, it would be called out explicitly.
The only limitation on what you can use Hunter's Mark on is that it has to be an attack roll that you make. Therefore, it'll work with most Battle Master maneuvers, since most of them involve you making an attack roll. An exception would be "Commander's Strike", because in that case someone else is making the attack roll.
It does not matter that it's a bonus action. There are some abilities in the game that say something like "when you make an attack as part of the Attack action" which then wouldn't work with a bonus action attack, but this one doesn't say that.
To simplify the issue of the bonus action, you get 1 bonus action per turn but you only need to expend a bonus action to apply or reapply hunter's mark, not to maintain it. So if in round 1 you cast hunter's mark on a creature, you can no longer use Lunging Attack as it requires a bonus action too. However, when you get to the 2nd round, if that creature is still alive, hunter's mark will still be on it and you still have a bonus action and can use Lunging Attack while it is under the affects of hunter's mark.
So against a bunch of smaller creatures, this probably won't work as many creatures won't last 2 rounds when under attack but against stronger creatures or BBEGs, this maybe viable.
