I have been running D&D games since the late 1980s and have always used some variant of the Spell Point system. In the 2014 edition of the DM's Guide there was a version of this system that mostly worked in my game (with a few minor modifications - Casters can expend spell points beyond their pool at a rate of 1d4 Force damage per point expended)
With that being said, would it be out of bounds to ask if some variation of the Spell Point system be added to the D&D Beyond site - an option during character creation would be GREAT!
There's been a handful of people asking for them to implement the 2014 system for years, and along with all the other optional rules from the 2014 DMG it never got supported, and the new DMG doesn't even list spell points, so I doubt they've got any plans to implement support for the concept on this site.

Thank you in advance for your consideration
