Can the bonus action dash be split, like doing part of the dash, preforming an action and then finishing the dash?
A Dash action doesn't mean that you move during that action, it only provides additional movement for you to use on your turn. And thus it can be split up just as movement usually can be.
Dash
When you take the Dash action, you gain extra movement for the current turn. The increase equals your Speed after applying any modifiers. With a Speed of 30 feet, for example, you can move up to 60 feet on your turn if you Dash. If your Speed of 30 feet is reduced to 15 feet, you can move up to 30 feet this turn if you Dash.
You can break up your move, using some of its movement before and after any action, Bonus Action, or Reaction you take on the same turn. For example, if you have a Speed of 30 feet, you could go 10 feet, take an action, and then go 20 feet.
You're misunderstanding what the dash does. The dash action doesn't allow you to move by itself, instead it grants you additional available movement to use as part of the normal movement rules.
As such, the way the dash action works does mean you can split that additional movement around other actions given that's how movement works in general
Dash is one of those D&D terms that's often inherently confusing, because it really sounds like taking the action involves actually doing something, but as Thezzaruz and Davyd pointed out, it doesn't. It might be better termed "boost" or "surge" or something like that.

Okay, thanks
Now, there are other abilities that would only work in a single burst. Something like a Glamour Bard's Mantle of Inspiration specifically says:
When a feature says something like this, then it's an immediate "use it or lose it" option.
